Who You AreYou're a skilled and detail-oriented Water Treatment Specialist with a strong background in monitoring, maintaining, and ensuring the proper treatment of water systems. With expertise in water purification, chemical treatment processes, and system troubleshooting, you excel at ensuring that water systems meet quality and safety standards. Your ability to manage treatment operations, analyze water samples, and maintain equipment makes you a vital part of ensuring clean and safe water for both operational and environmental needs.

What You'll DoIn the role of Water Treatment Specialist, your duties will include:
+ Ensures that plant operations follow operating guidelines, and that treated water is safe and acceptable entering the distribution system
+ Assumes responsibility for complete operation and maintenance of treatment plant
+ Monitors, operates, repairs, and maintains plant processes and associated equipment system components
+ Conducts daily rounds and inspections for treatment systems, water wells, main pump stations, water storage tanks, and swimming pools
+ Collects, inspects, tests, and evaluates representative water samples to meet regulations range
+ Maintains chemical feed pumps to adjust proper dosage rate of chemicals
+ Checks chemical dosage tank level and refill tank
+ Performs routine preventive maintenance on plant equipment to include calibrations, basic mechanical and electrical work, and lubricating and replacing parts
+ Maintains all required records such as daily operating logs, AF forms, daily inspection process forms, and chemical and repair parts inventory and compiles and analyzes data and reports daily
+ Manages the operating budget and materials/supplies procurement for the wastewater plant.
Requirements:
+ Must be a US or Australian citizen
+ Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an active US Secret clearance or AUS PV Clearance.
+ An Associate Degree in a related field, such as environmental science or chemistry.
+ A high school diploma and on-the-job training in job duties of wastewater treatment may be considered.
+ A minimum of 5 years' experience in water treatment
+ Must possess excellent communication skills.

+ Manage environmental programs for compliance, pollution prevention, and /or natural resource protection programs.
+ Prepares and oversees SOWs and cost estimates for environmental studies, designs, and projects.
+ Continually ensures and monitors compliance and investigations of non-compliant issues.
+ Establishes and manages hazardous waste storage and disposal policies and practices.
+ Oversees identification and validation of potential contaminated sites and development/implementation of remedial action plans.
+ Manages staff, budget and policies affecting specific programs.
+ Other duties as required.
Requirements:
+ Must be a US or Australian citizen
+ Must have a US TS/SCI Clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearance
+ Must have a minimum of a BA/BS, from an accredited institution, preferably in environmental science or EH&S related field
+ Must have a minimum of five years of EHS experience managing projects of similar size, scope, and complexity
+ Must possess a ASP, CSP, CIH, CEP (Preferred), or Australian equivalent (note: a CSP or CIH are preferred); An EH&S related Master's Degree may sufficie for Certification requirement
+ Must be knowledge of process improvement models
+ Must have an understanding of the US and Australian bilateral agreements governing EHS
+ Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and statistics related to workplace safety and environmental compliance.
+ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for preparing reports, presenting safety training, and interacting with regulatory bodies.

- At least (3) years of post-graduate experience with advanced clinical skills and competencies applicable to remote settings (including the ability to triage, work independently, and participate in afterhours emergency calls and first response)
- Willing to travel in small charter planes, and the ability to drive a 4WD will be looked upon favourably.
- Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)

- Excellent base salary (N4 level) + 12% superannuation
- 6 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading

- Monday–Friday core hours with on-call rotation

- Deliver culturally appropriate, person-centred mental health services in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team
- Provide high-quality mental health care, including prevention, early intervention, and treatment
- Develop strong referral pathways and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Promote integrated care that respects local culture and community control
- Participate in emergency response and on-call services
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Remote Area Nurse Experience
- REC and/or ALS certification
- Accredited immunisation certificate (recognised in NT)
- Remote Pharmacotherapeutic Certificate (or equivalent)
- Manual driver’s licence
- Minimum 5 years post-registration nursing experience, including 3 years in remote or primary health
- Mental Health Registered Nurse experience
- Commitment to Aboriginal community control and understanding of the challenges of remote practice
