**Job Overview**
_Jensen Hughes is looking for a Corporate Counsel to support our growing business across the Asia and Pacific region. The purpose of this role is to act as a true partner to the business and to provide strategic support to key parts of the business. We are looking for someone to support a variety of different teams and help support our positive environment with all our colleagues. The role reports to our US General Counsel and is a highly visible position with the opportunity to grow and develop global business strategies while providing high-quality legal support to our engineers, consultants and analysts that serve our clients in making our world safe, secure and resilient._
**_Responsibilities_**
+ _Draft, review and negotiate various commercial contracts with clients, vendors, and business partners, including master services agreements, RFP responses, commercial leases and vendor agreements._
+ _Assist with general transaction work involving intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, compliance, and privacy matters._
+ _Support the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures within the Legal department infrastructure._
+ _Support corporate governance matters including drafting board meeting minutes and resolutions for Jensen Hughes subsidiaries and affiliates worldwide._
+ _Support human resource business partners and operations leaders by providing general legal advice on various employment law matters and immigration, including assessing legal risks and opportunities._
+ _Support global claims management matters._
+ _Research and provide legal updates on industry-related legislation in all applicable jurisdictions._
+ _Manage outside counsel on matters as needed._
+ _Other duties as assigned by the General Counsel._
**_Requirements and Qualifications_**
+ _8 years of general practice experience as an attorney with a law firm or in-house counsel generalist role. Employment, immigration and/or corporate transactional experience preferred._
+ _Excellent legal research and writing skills._
+ _Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to nonlegal partners up and down the corporate chain._
+ _Strong problem solving skills, project management and business acumen._
+ _Ability to work well under pressure._
+ _Ability to work with minimal supervision, function autonomously and take initiative._
+ _Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment._
+ _Ability to work across domestic and global time zones._

We currently have an opportunity for a Paralegal within our Australia specialist contract review team. This team assists our Corporate Counsel with reviewing contracts such as tender documents, professional services and consultancy contracts. You'll work closely with authors, compliance officers, consultants, and internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, and editorial.

Reporting to the Pacific Content Manager, this is a permanent full-time remote role, with access to central CBD offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
Responsibilities
+ Portfolio Ownership: Manage the content lifecycle for assigned regulatory modules-strategy, development, commissioning, restructuring, and decommissioning.
+ Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of legislative reform, case law, compliance trends, and sector developments.
+ Customer-Centric Development: Gather insights directly from customers (pre and post-sales) to shape content that is practical, relevant, and tailored for different industries.
+ Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and manage relationships with external contributors such as specialist lawyers, consultants, regulators, and professional bodies.
+ Sales & Marketing Enablement: Partner with internal teams to define product value propositions, support go-to-market plans, deliver training, and contribute to client presentations.
+ Revenue & Strategy: Support budgeting and revenue growth initiatives through new content proposals and adjacent market expansion.
+ Project Delivery: Drive authoring projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring quality and compliance standards are consistently met.
Requirements
+ University law degree or equivalent - legal and compliance education and experience preferred
+ 3+ years post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally in financial services, banking, insurance or legal/corporate compliance.
+ Demonstrated legal drafting and editing skills.
+ Strong understanding of how compliance content is used across legal and non-legal industries.
+ Prior experience in content/product development, publishing, or legal technology is desirable.
+ Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen.
+ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills.
+ Comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and sales teams.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

We are looking for a Property Lawyer to join our Practical Guidance team at LexisNexis. With practice experience as a Commercial property lawyer in Australia, you will have a solid understanding of the practical processes relevant to property law transactions and advice, including sales and acquisitions, e-conveyancing, property development, commercial and retail leasing and general property law (such as easements and covenants).
Reporting to the Content Manager, this is a full-time permanent role to be based in Australia, preferably within one of these locations (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth) but with the opportunity to work flexibly and/or remotely.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare and maintain practically-focused up-to-date content, as well as practical resources, for our popular Practical Guidance product that is Australia's most established and trusted 'how-to' of legal practice.
+ Monitor legal developments and changes in current practice.
+ Support the Senior Legal Writer with managing external author relationships and reviewing externally prepared content for accuracy and suitability.
+ Provide support to Relationship Managers to help build brand awareness and influence market share across clients and stakeholders.
+ Participate in or contribute to in-market activities (eg masterclasses, webinars, customer feedback sessions).
Requirements
+ 3+ years PQE
+ Australian qualified lawyer
+ Recent experience in an Australian mid to top tier law firm, in-house counsel or Government role
+ A background in transactional and advisory work in property law. Experience in sales and acquisitions, e-conveyancing, property development, commercial and retail leasing, and general property law (such as easements and covenants).
