In this role, you will drive mechanical engineering services design, construction, and implementation of enterprise data centres that meet global quality and performance standards. Working directly with Design Engineering Stakeholders, Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams within the APAC region.

Key job responsibilities
- Evaluate cooling systems using in-depth CFD knowledge to make data-driven decisions aligned with our guidelines
- Drive successful project delivery while maintaining the highest performance standards
- Utilize innovation to reduce PUE, water consumption, and CAPEX while increasing efficiency
- Develop mechanical documentation including but not limited to narratives, drawings, specifications, etc.
- Drive process improvements across the organization.
- Perform building energy use calculations for determining capacity and type of cooling system required
- Perform CFD models on innovative and next generation designs
- Provide reports to senior leadership on the results of those models
- Perform water efficiency use calculations to determine quantity of water needed on site
- Coordinate with construction and commissioning teams to answer requests for information
- Work with global ME teams to achieve alignment of design and CFD modeling standards
- Develop special projects and assist senior engineers with detailed calculations for special projects
- This position will involve travel (20%)

Basic Qualifications
- 5 years experience with Sigma Six or HELYX CFD modeling software
- Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering
- Thorough understanding and use of principals, theories and concepts in mechanical engineering
- 8 years experience in designing HVAC systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineer in training or Chartered Engineer
- Understanding of building controls documentation
- Programming skills in Python and AI tools
- Deep understanding of data center mechanical systems and cooling control schemes.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, AIRAH, etc.

As an Amazon Fleet Remediation Project Design Mechanical Engineer, you will lead design projects in operational data centers, that remediate issues, upgrade our existing infrastructure or add new services. You will be the 'go to' engineering resource for these projects and will provide lifecycle support from design through implementation. You will use your (mechanical or electrical) expertise to:
- Own the design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions which add data center infrastructure, capacity, improve availability, and/or increase sustainability
- Perform design and equipment submittal review for Data Centers in your region
- Interface with internal and external data center design engineering team, server hardware team, environmental health and safety team, field engineering, and controls engineering to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered

As a Fleet Remediation Project Design Mechanical Engineer, you will be leading projects to fit out our data centers to meet ever-evolving customer needs as we continue expanding our fleet to hyper-scale.

- Possess Strong Engineering Judgement and are able to provide design and recommendations despite uncertainty
- Are detail and data oriented with familiarity with design/construction processes
- Have experience managing engineering projects and engineering consultants.
- Build trust and relationships with different stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Commissioning, Construction and Design)
- Manage design and as built drawings and documents
- Prepare and present progress reports to all relevant stakeholders
- Be inclined to get into the field to see things up close

You will prioritize your activities to support data center safety, remediation projects, capacity, and availability, focusing on the actions that are most impactful. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Experience as a resident engineer or hands-on design consultant
- Experience with building codes and regulations for your region
- 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer License
- Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production
- Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents
- Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls)
- Experience using a variety of web based software's and tools for calculation and data processing mainly CFD software.

**The Role:**

+ Provide Systems Engineering support to disclose logistics and maintenance changes to all mission system stakeholders, including System Safety, obsolescence identification, and technical assessing.
+ Assist with managing the Mission System Configuration baselines and data.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications:**
+ Essential - Minimum of a Diploma in Engineering, preferable electrical / electronic discipline.
+ Essential - Minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience in a relevant engineering role.
+ Essential - Practical to substantial knowledge of projects, programs, or systems relevant to the business with the ability to make enhancements and leverage knowledge in daily work.
+ Essential - Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security clearance as needed. **Senior Technical Support Engineer**

Bentley Systems is seeking a qualified professional to join our esteemed Global Technical Support team. This role involves interfacing with users to provide technical support, demonstrations, and training for civil engineering software. The successful candidate will collaborate with our Development group, Professional Services, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Sales teams. As a key member of the team, you will also support your colleagues by sharing product knowledge and assisting in case resolution. Additionally, you may be required to mentor and train both current and new team members to help them achieve their potential.
**Responsibilties:**
+ Providing technical application support to users, answering complex questions on the use of software to design various civil engineering projects. These projects include roadway design, site design, storm and sanitary sewer design, berm and levee design, rail design, etc.
+ Assisting Technical Support Engineers in resolving complex problems and issues
+ Keeping and maintaining a close working relationship with the Product Management teams
+ Teaching engineers and designers best practices for the available civil engineering and survey software tools, to allow them to accomplish their project goals
+ Acting as a consultant to engineering companies and government organizations to implement our design software in their organization or project
+ Producing client facing training and multimedia materials
+ Serving as primary support liaison between Bentley and our clients
+ Occasionally travelling to user sites for internal trainings as needed (less than 10% travel)
+ Conveying user feedback to product development staff.
+ Identifying and presenting user requirements to the Product Management teams in the form of detailed specification documents to enable the enhancement of program commands and workflows
+ Possessing thorough knowledge of the client company's products and other applications used by their users
+ Resolving clients' application questions or problems over the telephone in the areas of system configurations/setup, product functionality and bugs/enhancements.
+ Helping to spearhead special projects within the team
+ Communicating with all affected parties how and when problems are resolved
+ Managing any additional follow up, testing and troubleshooting needed
+ Appropriately referring issues to other support and quality assurance areas
+ Promoting and maintaining a high quality, professional, service-oriented company image among users
What You Bring to The Team:
+ Civil Engineering degree or equivalent training and experience
+ 3+ years as a Technical Support Engineer or similar
+ 1-5 years of experience in road, rail, and site design preferred
+ English Language Proficiency
+ 3+ experience with OpenRoads Designer, InRoads, GEOPAK, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Civil3D
+ Best in class written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong critical thinking skills and a desire to solve problems
+ Strong leadership skills
+ Self-motivated, proactive with a strong desire to continuously learn
+ Professional Engineering license a bonus
+ This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, home-based or hybrid in your home country

Construction Technical Support Officer
We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Supervisor to join the KBR team in Adelaide. This role will be embedded with one of our major clients, SA Water. Working together with SA Water, our collective goal is to deliver an efficient capital program and infrastructure projects, safely, on time, within budget and to customer and community expectations. To do this we are working with SA Water and changing; by adapting a better, more sophisticated approach to how we plan, manage, and deliver the program.   
The Construction Supervisor will ensure the new civil works and treatment plants meet the required delivery outcomes and customer service level by supporting optimal construction delivery with regards to time, quality and cost through promotion of efficiency and innovation, safety and environmental best practice, including resource leadership, direction and capacity building.
Based out of SA Water House and travelling to sites when needed, this role includes providing technical advice and guidance to the construction and project team on enabling works requirements, civil works, mechanical & electrical works and commissioning/handover process.
Further to this, the Construction Supervisor is responsible for the following;
+ Ensuring all quality requirements of the project are carried out by the contractor in accordance with the technical specification and relevant technical Australian standards and guidelines.
+ Ensuring the project complies with necessary internal and external standards, acts and regulations, guidelines and design requirements are met.
+ Work with the Senior Project Manager to ensure project risks and opportunities are identified and assessed and necessary actions are taken.
+ Review of project activities against schedule and reported progress on a weekly basis, and report to Senior Project Manager
+ Monitoring of construction budget and support progress and final expenditure predictions being timely and accurate.
Qualifications and Key Skills
+ Demonstrated knowledge and application of construction and health, safety and environmental practices, standards and quality assurance methods
+ Ability to use and develop computer applications including project scheduling, spreadsheets and analytics e.g. Power BI, field applications for mobile working and reporting
+ Experience in construction, commissioning and program reviews and quality assurance, cost and time estimates and scheduling for construction projects
