The primary role of the Driller's Offsider is to assist the driller in all aspects of drilling operations, ensuring the rig runs efficiently, safely, and without delays. The Task Ahead Assist the driller with the operation and maintenance of the RC rig and associated equipment.Help in setting up and dismantling drilling rigs and ensuring they are ready for operation.Monitor the drilling process, ensuring it runs smoothly and safely.Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure everything is in good working order.Record operational data and maintain logs.Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise during operations.Follow strict safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment for the entire team.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
A HR Licence (Heavy Rigid Licence) is required for operating the necessary vehicles.Senior First Aid certification.Experience or willingness to learn in operating and maintaining drilling rigs.Knowledge and experience with 4WD operations.Working at Heights (WAH) certification is preferred but not essential. PLEASE NOTE. Only applicants residing in WA with full Australian working rights will be reviewed. We appreciate your interest, however applicants based interstate or overseas will not be accepted. Key RequirementHR Licence (preferred)Senior First Aid certification4WD experience or certificationWorking at Heights (WAH) certification (preferred)Strong commitment to safety and quality work practices.Ability to work in remote locations and handle physically demanding tasks.Ability to work on a FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) roster.
