In this role, you'll provide high-quality emergency care in a modern, high-acuity environment. With 56 treatment bays, including three resuscitation bays and dedicated adult and paediatric areas, the Emergency Department is one of the busiest in WA. You'll be supported by direct links to Intensive Care, Coronary Care, Medical and Surgical specialties, while also gaining exposure to mental health and complex acute presentations.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your emergency nursing skills in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team - with potential for leadership growth for the right candidate.
About the Opportunity
As an Emergency Department RN, you will:
Deliver patient-centred care across diverse emergency presentations
Work collaboratively with ICU, CCU, surgical and medical teams
Provide advanced triage, assessment and critical care interventions
Support patient flow and safety in a busy, high-acuity environment
Contribute to quality improvement and best practice standards
- Sponsorship for the right candidate - depending on experience
Skills and Experience
Essential
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 1 year acute hospital experience
Excellent clinical assessment, triage and emergency care skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Desirable
Previous Emergency Department nursing experience
Post-registration qualifications in acute or emergency nursing
Benefits
Hourly rate $40.24 - $52.58 + super (WA RN/Midwife Award Level 1.1-1.8)

- Up to $84.95 per hour base rate plus penalties
- Contract commencing 25 August 2025 (ideally) for 12 weeks
- Full-time hours available
- Curis-employed with weekly pay and full support throughout your placement
