As a midwife you will have opportunities to use your skills across the full scope of maternity care, with women having choices from continuity of care models right through to private obstetric care. You will make an impact in this role by:
- Providing high standards of evidence-based midwifery care to women of varying ages and cultural groups
- Planning, assessing, implementing and evaluating midwifery care in collaboration with women, their families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Being passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience for women and their families.
To be eligible for this position you will possess the following:
- Full AHPRA registration with no restrictions as a Registered Midwife
- At least 3 years experience as a Registered Midwife
- Highly developed clinical skills across the continuum of maternity care
- Experience with water births essential
