**The Opportunity**
We have one full-time position available for a **Maintenance Technician Supervisor (Part time)** to support all aspects of the hotels Engineering function. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow and advance your career in Australia's first Luxury Collection Hotel.
We're looking for an experienced technician who can manage and support the ongoing maintenance, repairs and upkeep of the building across mechanical and electrical services, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, fixtures, fittings and equipment of the hotel.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Oversee daily maintenance operations and support the Engineering Manager in managing team performance and task allocation.
+ Conduct routine plant inspections and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks to meet quality and safety standards.
+ Perform hands-on maintenance, including basic repairs on equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general handyman duties.
+ Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
+ Monitor compliance with company policies, safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), and departmental procedures.
+ Supervise, train, and motivate team members; provide guidance, performance feedback, and support professional development.
+ Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient task execution.
+ Maintain inventory, order supplies, and ensure availability of tools and equipment for daily operations.
+ Support the development and communication of departmental goals, expectations, and schedules.
+ Act as a role model by working alongside the team and promoting a positive, collaborative work environment.
+ Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including physical tasks such as lifting (up to 20kg), climbing, and operating machinery.
