About the Opportunity
The ABK Joint Venture (Abergeldie, BMD and KBR) is one of two delivery partners leading South East Water’s landmark $1.5 billion capital works program. This 10-year contract will see ABK plan and deliver major infrastructure upgrades as part of a new integrated capital works planning and delivery model.
With the program now in full swing, ABK is delivering a diverse portfolio of works – from the $72 million Dingley Recycled Water Scheme to renewals packages, pump station and storage upgrades, aerator and chlorinator improvements, floating cover installations, and early works across multiple sites.
We’re now looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead within the ABK Team. Reporting to the Program Director, this is a senior leadership role with overall responsibility for health and safety across the joint venture. You’ll lead the development and implementation of the Program Safety Management Plan, oversee project and subcontractor safety plans, drive audits, investigations and reporting and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all sites.
This role is highly collaborative, you’ll be engaging closely with JV partners, contractors, suppliers and clients – central to embedding safety as a core value in one of Victoria’s most significant infrastructure programs.
