About the role
In this role of a Security Analyst you will be conducting and documenting a highly complex information security risk assessments, developing and implementing security processes. Upon finding vulnerabilities you will be required to deep dive into each of them individually, performing further analysis, in order to avoid false positives and ensure high accuracy of findings. You will be responsible for planning, developing processes, documenting them while interacting with a variety of teams across our Software Assurance organisation, train staff, and be the go-to person for such security processes. You foster the collaborative atmosphere to enable buy-in into security processes and cross-team collaboration. You are ambitious, yet humble - you realise there are always opportunities for improvement, you take on feedback from team members and introspect to raise the bar for yourself and your organization. You are comfortable with ambiguity. Your responsibilities also include contributing to the design, implementation, integration and testing of analysis support in the tool for a variety of languages including C/C++, Objective-C, Java, Python, and Go.
This position will require 100% onsite work in our office in North Ryde.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines
- Good understanding of application security, CVE classification system (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) and OWASP top 10
- Experience in program analysis, compilers, or web application security
- Have worked and understand report outputs through SAST and SCA tooling.
- Ability to review vulnerabilities in open-source software written in Java and/or GoLang, C/C++, Python.
- Foundational skills in Python programming
- Familiar with SCM/software version control tools (e.g., Git)
- A strong interest in application security, willingness to learn and seek out information to solve challenging problems is essential

**The key responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:**
- Develop a suite of supporting processes which enable optimisation of the Maritime Sustainment Model (MSM).
- Identify and describe how Naval Logistics Information Systems tools and Enterprise Resource Planning tools.
- Develop standardised processes, procedures, and work instructions in a consistent and repeatable format.

**Essential Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree (Information Systems, Business, Engineering or related field)
- 8+ years as a Business Analyst or Process Improvement Specialist in complex or asset-intensive environments.
- Must hold an active Defence Security Clearance - Demonstrated experience in process modelling, documentation and governance.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 55001, ideally with experience aligning process documentation to these standards.

**Position Summary**
The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Business Process Analyst will excel in RPA (Power automate), presenting both consulting and development skillsets. They will work closely with business stakeholders through completing consulting led RPA process assessments, documenting business processes, communicating to development teams on requirements and having experience in agile RPA delivery. They will collaborate with a client to enable them to deliver and scale RPA solutions. They will play a critical role in the growth of the Cognizant team and its RPA capability across ANZ. One key part of the role will be to identify quality and prioritising opportunities to automate process, demonstrating to clients the achievement of benefits and suggesting process improvements as part of a continuous journey.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ RPA Tool understanding. (Uipath, Power Automate desktop, Blue Prism)
+ Collaborating with stakeholders to understand "as-is" process, issues, areas for improvement, leveraging system data to confirm conclusions where necessary.
+ Document business processes using Process Definition Documents (PDD), Standard Operating Procedures.
+ Responsible for documenting business process flow charts using BPMN principles.
+ Design clear and understandable "to=be" processes, replay them to the business and get sign off for them to be developed and implemented.
+ Work with change management teams to ensure the early adoption of new processes.
+ Working on Support and Maintenance activities
+ Experience managing daily stand ups, retrospectives leveraging agile methodologies (Scrum).
+ Project management: disciplined in managing project scope, timeline, and budget to meet deadlines.
+ Work within project schedule constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues.
+ Create Handover Documentation
+ Write test cases against the desired requirements.
+ Review UAT test plans, run UAT triage and clarification/manage defects.
+ Test and confirm the desired requirement has been met considering original ROI.
**Mandatory Skills**
+ Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
+ A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving solutions independently.
+ Able to understand complex processes and simplify where possible, or break down into sub-processes, ability to identify redundancy.
+ Able to determine ROI of processes and create business pipeline. Work with the business to identify best cases for automation.

+ Working effectively with people at all levels of the organization to understand needs and deploy solutions.
+ Familiarity with digital tools and the ability to use statistical models and data to simulate and predict the impact of changes.
+ Thoroughness and a focus on detail are important for creating accurate and effective architectural designs.
+ The ability to navigate organizational politics and build consensus among different stakeholders.
+ Capable of playing a lead role and communicating requirements to both onshore and offshore teams.
+ Ability to playback future "to-be" solutions to multiple audiences with varying degrees of technological maturity.
+ Familiarisation with JIRA, Confluence tools
+ Familiarity with Microsoft power automate.
+ Possess excellent communication skills.
+ Enthusiastic and unprompted attitude for implementing and developing fresh solutions.
+ Knowledge of BPM, RPA, and AI API's

Responsibilities
+ Provide leadership and mentorship to the Data team, fostering a collaborative environment and enhancing team skills.
+ Lead analytics efforts and projects independently, including defining scope and approach.
+ Manage projects to ensure timely delivery within scope and quality standards.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to enforce data quality and governance, assess and implement new technologies, and monitor analytics solution performance for continuous improvement.
+ Develop and maintain data models and products that support advanced analytics and reporting requirements.
+ Aim to uncover meaningful insights and deliver actionable business recommendations
+ Drive and develop new dashboards when new products are launched.
+ Continuously optimise data processes and workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
+ Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and gaps.
+ Consolidate data accurately from various sources to conduct analysis and present findings & insights.

Requirements
