This is a permanent part-time mobile role of at least 15 hours per week and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to work with participants in their homes across South-Western Sydney LGA (Campbelltown, Liverpool, Fairfield, etc.)

  • SCHADS Level 2 base rate from $33.93 per hour with salary packaging benefits, penalty rates, and superannuation

Uniting is currently looking for flexible and dedicated Disability Support Workers to engage with participants living with various physical and mental disabilities under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) across their homes in Southwestern Sydney. If you possess a caring and compassionate nature, along with a "can do" attitude, and you genuinely seek a job where you can make a meaningful difference by building their capacity with daily living, we have a role that is suitable for you.

What you will be doing:

  • Aiding with daily life activities and assistance for community support, such as attending a doctor’s appointment and shopping.

  • Facilitating access to various community, social, and recreational activities.
  • Assisting with transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements.

Who we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in psychosocial disabilities
  • Good communication skills and ability to do case notes through a mobile phone
  • Possession of a valid NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Check
  • NSW Driver’s license (can be on Green P Plates) , access to a reliable car and Comprehensive car insurance are required for the role.
  • First Aid Certificate is also a necessary qualification.

+ Lead and participate in regional or global recruitment programs.
+ Manage recruiting performance and reporting for respective groups.
+ Build strong candidate pipelines to support future openings, particularly in customer and technical support roles
**What will help you succeed**
+ At least 3-4 years of multiple discipline recruiting experience
+ Success track record of direct sourcing candidates at all levels.
+ Have experience working in high-growth and preferably SaaS global organizations.
+ Have experience in organizations that have undergone significant growth, change, and/or international expansion.
+ Possesses strong business acumen.
+ You are independent and self-motivated to bring new ideas/new ways to reach top talent.
+ Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships.
+ Have a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
+ High level of accountability with a focus on the customer and a passion for winning
+ Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple assignments while ensuring an exceptional experience effectively
+ Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate reporting
+ A passion for continuous learning and openness to emerging technologies and tools
+ Strong comprehension of spoken and written English
+ Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
+ Proficiency in an Asian language is a plus, supporting broader engagement across the APAC region.
