What you’ll be doing in this role

p>You’ll provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents living in our aged care home, to help support their independence and improve their quality of life

p>Provide driving services to and be responsible for the welfare and safety of residents and clients travelling between their places of residence and other Uniting Locations and on outings

Assist residents and clients to enter and exit the bus and provide mobility support as required

Provide supervision of residents and clients and ensure their safety always

Assisting with medication and simple wound dressings and

Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities.

Who we’re looking for

p>Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support or an equivalent qualification.

p>LR/MR Licence highly desirable

You’ll have previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care if you’re studying or have recently become qualified.

+ Lead and contribute to transport and traffic engineering projects, including transport impact assessments and design development; experience in micro/meso modelling or road safety is a plus.
+ Advise on technical transport requirements during planning, optioneering, and concept development stages for infrastructure and planning projects.
+ Manage and deliver small to medium-sized projects while supporting large-scale initiatives, ensuring client needs are met.

+ Proven expertise in transport impact assessments, intersection modelling, and inclusive road design, with strong knowledge of local traffic engineering standards across diverse project scales.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, ensuring delivery of technically sound outcomes on time and within budget, while building strong client relationships and working effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
+ Desirable experience in Road Safety Audits, Road Safety Assessments, and micro/meso modelling.
+ Committed, adaptable, and eager to learn, thriving in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments; holds a degree in Civil Engineering or similar.

+ Contribute to and lead the development of a number of transport planning projects, ranging from precinct planning to business case input for transport infrastructure of regional significance
+ Develop your strong technical capabilities as part of high performing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver planning and assessment on road, port, public transport, and active transport projects
+ Assist with identifying new business opportunities and proactively keeping abreast with industry trends and interacting with our global leaders in your technical practice areas of interest.

+ Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, geography, mathematics, or transport planning, with a drive for delivering high-quality work.
