We support the Australian Government's classified programs with modern IT systems, including mission critical classified systems that cover a wide breadth of software engineering disciplines. Including enterprise systems, web applications, cyber security and geospatial systems. Our team develops these using the latest agile processes and industry best practices, leveraging leading commercial and open-source frameworks and tools.

+ A Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (with software engineering experience)

+ CI/CD tools and technologies and infrastructure as code (Ansible, Jenkins, git)

**A little taste of your day-to-day**
As a Duty Manager, you'll be a visible and proactive presence throughout the hotel, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while delivering warm and efficient service. During the pre-opening phase and beyond, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Front Office Manager in establishing operating procedures and service standards across front office operations.
Acting as the primary point of contact for guests and team members across all departments during your shift, handling issues with a proactive, guest-first mindset.
Managing the daily operation of the hotel in the absence of senior leadership, ensuring seamless coordination between front office, housekeeping, maintenance and food & beverage.

**What we need from you**
Previous experience in a Duty Manager or senior front office role within a premium or upscale hotel environment (pre-opening experience highly regarded).
Strong understanding of front office operations, guest service delivery and hotel systems. (Opera Cloud or similar PMS experience desirable).
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure during overnight shifts.

**What we need from you**
+ At least 5 years of related experience in multiple outlet venues, including management experience.
+ Proven success in similar roles within hotels, resorts, or hospitality venues.
+ Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and Food Handling Certificate.
+ A demonstrated capability of collaborating with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
+ Strong communication skills and passionate about delivering exceptional service and developing your team.
+ Strategic thinking, the ability to explore new ways of working and have an open mind around how we can drive the Hotel forward.
+ Must be fluent in English.

As our Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the successful opening and continuing daily operations of our brand-new hotel. Here's a snapshot of your day-to-day:
+ Support the Housekeeping Manager in setting up systems, processes, and training programs during the pre-opening phase.
+ Coach, train, and mentor colleagues to deliver exceptional service.
+ Supervise, coach and support housekeeping team members to maintain the highest cleanliness and presentation standards.

This is a crucial role building and leading a team dedicated to delivering incredible dining experiences. Every day is different, but as a part of the pre-opening team you'll mostly be:
During pre-opening, you will be supporting the Executive Chef setting up the department, ready for our first guests and visitors. This includes creation of ordering lists, menu engineering, departmental SOPs, training programs and much more
Assisting in the curation of a unique and exiting menu sourcing the finest locally sourced produce
Delivering memorable culinary experiences

Manage and train staff, assess performance and support professional development programs
Ordering of supplies and exercising stock control and inventory management

**What we need from you:**
At least 5 years of experience working in a similar role in a busy restaurant or hotel
Ability to build and lead an enthusiastic and collaborative team
The ability to work efficiently under pressure and to prioritize tasks effectively
A creative and innovative approach to cooking and menu planning
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and staff

Our guests' safety and comfort always comes first, which is why Crowne Plaza Geelong is seeking out a master multi-tasker with the skills needed to keep our brand-new hotel looking and feeling its absolute best. This role will join our pre-opening Maintenance Manager to help ensure the smooth opening and ongoing operation of the hotel.
**A little taste of your day to day**
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
Assisting in the establishment and commissioning of the new hotel.
Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, common areas, back-of-house facilities, and exterior spaces.
+ Diagnose and resolve minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and mechanical issues promptly and effectively.
+ Conduct inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
+ Respond to guest requests for repairs or assistance in a timely and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and comfort.
+ Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including completed tasks and materials used.
+ Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless operation and guest experience.

**What We Need From You**
Previous experience in a similar maintenance / handy person role - preferably in a hospitality setting.
