The Field Technicians are responsible for conducting planned and corrective maintenance, technical investigations, and support configuration change activities of communication and mission systems to ensure the continued provision of services to the customer. As a Field Technician - Diesel Mechanic you will also be required to support deployment of Mission System Equipment in support of trial activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Ensuring work is carried out to a consistently high standard.
+ Provision of specialist maintenance services to Test Range instrument systems equipment. This includes light grade and heavy grade maintenance as defined by the equipment maintenance processes.
+ Deployment and operation of Instrumentation Trailers across the Woomera Test Range in support of defence trials.
+ Producing maintenance reports, meeting key performance indicators for technical compliance and contributing to system health indicators for production and program management.
+ Provision of configuration management support to selected mission systems.
+ Provision of support activities for breakdown spares, repairable items, and support and test equipment.
+ Providing technical support in the conduct of engineering and maintenance services and activities for the customer.
+ The role requires regular travel both within Australia and internationally, including approximately 16-20 weeks of instrumented testing per year at Woomera Test Range with typical deployments lasting between 1 to 3 weeks.
+ Working with Diesel Generators, Heavy to Light Trucks and Light Vehicles (LVs) with the ability to further training with specialised Instruments.
+ Perform diagnostic testing to accurately identify issues
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications:**
+ Requires Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
+ Minimum of 3 years relevant post-qualification experience required.
+ A demonstrated understanding of commercial vehicle engine and drive train systems
+ A demonstrated understanding of diesel power generation.
+ An understanding of auto electrical systems is highly desirable.
+ Diagnose and fault find finding skills

The Senior Jurisdiction and Classification Engineer will report to the Jurisdiction and Classification Manager, and complete product Jurisdiction and Classification Analyses (JCAs) in accordance with Raytheon Australia policies and procedures while adhering to Raytheon's values and principles.
The Senior Jurisdiction and Classification Engineer will also:
+ Be a key contributor by conducting comprehensive technical assessments related to export or import controls to ensure compliance with government regulations in accordance with Raytheon policy and guidelines.
+ Manage small projects and/or act as a Product Line Point of Contact (PoC).
+ Provide guidance and influence others on Defence Export Controls - including policies, procedures, and classifications.
+ Work with minimal oversight from manager and assist with difficult and complex Export Classifications.
+ Support the Global Trade (GT) organisation by responding to Jurisdiction and Classification Analysis (JCA) questions and information provided by Raytheon's Jurisdiction and Classification Control Board (JCCB).
+ Initiate and coordinate Technical Exchanges with Project Engineers/the Global Trade (GT) Team to solve complex topics and interpretations with Defence Export Control legislation.
+ Interface with other engineering disciplines, non-technical disciplines (e.g., Global Trade), and suppliers to arrive at the correct and compliant export classification.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
+ Requires a Bachelor's degree in: Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
+ Minimum 5 years of prior professional work experience, or if an advanced degree is held a minimum of 3 years work experience.
+ Minimum 2 years of prior experience working on an engineering development or support program.
+ Desirable to have a minimum 3 years' experience performing export commodity jurisdiction and classification assessments in accordance with Australian Export Control Laws, U.S Export Control Laws, or other related international trade experience.
