**Position Summary**
Nestlé is seeking an Apprentice Fitter and Turner to join our team in the Gympie Factory. This is a fantastic trade career opportunity for those with a strong interest in fitting and turning. During the 4-year Fitter & Turner Apprenticeship, you will undertake on-the-job, and formal training with an RTO to complete the trade accreditation - MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Maintenance) Fitting and/or Turning (2090).
The tasks that you may undertake as a fitter and turner include:
+ Diagnosing and repairing faults with tools and machinery, general maintenance of manufacturing equipment, and onsite maintenance fitting.
+ Interpreting engineering diagrams, drawings, specifications, and plans to determine suitable material and sequence of operations
+ Operating various machinery including lathes, mills, and welding plant
+ Performing computations and interacting with computing/digital technology
+ Planning, organising, performing, and reporting on maintenance engineering tasks
+ Welding, cutting, and grinding of various materials
+ Assembling fabricated parts
**To be successful in this role, you must possess**
+ Safe work ethics and an understanding of quality assurance
+ Previous experience, training, or interest in fitting & turning or mechanical maintenance
+ Good communication skills with a flexible can-do attitude
+ Ability to work in a team and autonomously
+ Pride in your work and attention to detail

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operational Buyer to join our Logistics team. Your main purpose will be to create an optimised replenishment plan for raw and packaging materials over an 18 month horizon that ensures supply of material to production whilst ensuring that the working capital targets for raw and packaging materials are met.
**A day in the Life**
This is a site-based role, working Monday to Friday and reporting to the Gympie Factory Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for:
+ Ensuring the timely supply of Raw & Pack Materials to meet Production requirements
+ Monitoring supply signals through the use of MRP purchase requisitions ensuring delivery dates, lead times and required quantities are correct and finally creating purchase orders and ensuring their fulfillment by the supplier.
+ Managing the defined supplier the delivery of materials: this includes creating, sending, confirming, receiving, investigating errors and discrepancies on blocked or parked invoice lines and handling all exception
+ Material and Specifications - Work together with Oceania Purchasing, Factory Logistics and Applications to approve new supply lines
+ Material Workflow management - manage all workflow to meet best practice
+ Purchasing Policies and Procedures - Ensure full implementation and Compliance with relevant policies, procedures and Internal controls
+ Document control - develop & maintain relevant OMS documents. Ensure reviews are conducted and all changes to documentation are promptly implemented
**What will make you successful**
+ Joining a collaborative team, you will be self-motivated, proactive and have a proven capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
+ You will have minimum 2 or more years' operations experience in similar role ideally within the FMCG industry.
+ Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
+ Advanced SAP systems experience will be highly desirable.
+ Solution focused and pro-active attitude and high attention to detail.
+ Clear and effective communication skills are essential.
+ Experience in stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
+ The right person must be proactive, thorough, and detailed, with a high level of relationship building.
