**Your day to day**
Our collection of unique dining options provides our guests with extraordinary island experiences of which you will play an integral part.
As Chef de Cuisine, you will direct the operation of the outlet/restaurant kitchen, including food preparation and quality, physical maintenance, and inventory functions, to ensure hotel quality standards and revenue goals are met and food and supply costs are controlled.
You will also manage day-to-day kitchen activities, plan, and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members.

**Salary $85,000 p.a**
**What we need from you**
We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations.
Ideally you will have:
- Completion of a degree or certificate in culinary arts and at least 2 years of experience as a chef, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity
- Equivalent combination of education and culinary/kitchen operations experience
- Up to date food safety certification.

**What we need from you**

**About the role**
The Activities and Marine Coordinator position supports the operational management of the guest activities, marine and Watersports functions. **What's the job?**
As Front Office Duty Manager, you will oversee all aspects of Guest Services operations to ensure a unique and memorable guest experience that brings the brand to life. You'll lead, motivate, train, and develop your team to operate at peak efficiency while maintaining high service standards. Your responsibilities include ensuring all colleagues are trained in systems, security, cash handling, and quality procedures; conducting and participating in daily operations meetings to prepare and support the team; and maintaining a strong awareness of Workplace Health and Safety policies. **What we need from you**
Completed Tertiary Studies in Hotel Management or Business Degree
Minimum 3 years' related management experience in 5 star, luxury hotel industry.
Flexibility - night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you'll be easy to talk to
Fluency in the local language - extra language skills would be preferred
Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal
Literate and tech-savvy - knowledge with PMS specifically opera is a must
You'll have a current clean driver's license
Able to travel on boats without sea sickness
Certification - QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification

**Your day to day**
Our collection of unique dining options provides our guests with extraordinary island experiences of which you will play an integral part.
As Chef de Cuisine - Banquets, you will direct the operation of Conference, Events and bespoke dining, including food preparation and quality, physical maintenance, and inventory functions, to ensure hotel quality standards and revenue goals are met and food and supply costs are controlled.
You will also manage day-to-day kitchen activities, plan, and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members.

**What we need from you**
We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations.
Ideally you will have:
Completion of a degree or certificate in culinary arts and at least 2 years of experience as a chef, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity
Equivalent combination of education and culinary/kitchen operations experience
Previous experience in banquets, conferencing, events, private and bespoke dining
Up to date food safety certification.

**Your day to day**
From the moment a guest starts to consider a vacation until their arrival and stay at the InterContinental Hayman Island, you will create a genuinely memorable experience. As Hayman Concierge you'll lead the delivery of guest requests and enquiries to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
