Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Demonstrate ability in problem-solving and analytical capabilities: conducting and driving Dive Deep analysis on complex processes,
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,
- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement,
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays,
- Authorized to work in Australia without sponsorship.

Reporting to the VLF Engineering Manager and working closely with the VLF Senior Electrical Engineer, your prime responsibility is to support and sustain one of the most powerful radio transmitters in the world, the VLF Transmitter.
You will assist in complex fault rectification, electrical design, and sustainment activities to assure the NCS HEH electrical asset operational performance and governance is maintained in accordance with Australian electrical standards & WA state legislation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Working closely with the Contractor Standing Capability (CSC) Project Engineering Manager (EM) you will support the Senior Electrical Engineer in the execution of electrical engineering activities for the CSC Project.
+ Assist in the delivery of solutions that achieve regulatory compliance, safety and required technical performance to meet project schedules via delivery of key milestones within budget and delivery timeframes.
+ Working closely with the CSC Senior Electrical Engineer, you will execute your duties in accordance with the prescribed company engineering processes, delivering documented technical outcomes that achieve the desired technical integrity and quality for the program.
+ Work with the Senior Electrical Engineer to support the VLF Transmitter Mission System, ensuring high availability operation and sustainment of over 1MW of triode vacuum tube amplifiers.
+ Work with the Senior Electrical Engineer to fault find, maintain and sustain the sites power generation, power transmission, plant equipment, radar and control systems.
+ Assist in the identification, documentation and mitigation of risk of Electrical Engineering Hazards.
+ Assist in electrical defect investigations, maintenance-related investigations and preparation of special technical instructions.
+ Liaise with the VLF Engineering Manager on project engineering issues, design process and engineering change development in accordance with company and program procedures.
+ Participation in technical reviews, planning, estimating and scheduling of electrical engineering tasks for the CSC activities.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in an Electrical Engineering with at least two years of post-graduate professional engineering experience in the area of Electrical systems;
+ Ability to resolve defects on a diverse range of electrical systems;
+ Familiarity with Australian Standard (AS) electrical standards and preferably with WA legislation;
+ Preferred familiarity with SCADA, Siemens and Allen-Bradley control systems;

Reporting to the HEH/VLF Engineering Authority, your prime responsibility is to support a major upgrade to the Variable Tuning Equipment (VTE), a critical part of one of the most powerful radio transmitters in the world, the VLF Transmitter.
Working alongside the HEH Engineering Authority and Commonwealth of Australia (CoA) Customer to:
+ Support a design review of the VTE upgrade design pack prior to the installation and attend ad-hoc design review meetings with the Commonwealth. Design artefacts include documents such as:
+ Design drawings
+ Safety Data Sheets
+ System Specifications
+ Procedures update and training
+ Acceptance Test Reports
+ Support preparation of a VTE Upgrade Design Review Report including anticipated Work Health and Safety (WHS) risks where the design developed in accordance with the United States (US) standards differs from Australian standards.
+ Assist in updating the Raytheon Radiation Safety Plan and a Hazard/Risk Assessment.
+ Provide technical support to the CoA during the implementation of the VTE upgrade, which includes routinely engaging with the US Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Project Engineer and assisting implementation and acceptance testing as required.
+ Conduct a review of the acceptance test activities conducted by the USA, supporting the production of an Acceptance Test Review Report to the CoA.
+ Support the conduct of System Operational Verification Tests (SOVT) that are conducted by the United States Navy (USN), including acting as a Test Witness when required.
+ Manage the staged upgrade activities in line with the Raytheon EMS producing approved Variances and ECPs to support Service release for each major element of the upgrade.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering with at least three years of post-graduate professional engineering experience in either area.
+ Ability to understand a diverse range of electrical and RF communications systems.
+ An understanding of key Systems Engineering activities such as Design Reviews, Hazard/Risk Assessments, formal V&V testing, Engineering Change and Service Release.
+ Familiarity with Australian Standard (AS) electrical and Safety standards;
+ An good understanding of the Raytheon Engineering Management System and the Systems Engineering lifecycle;
