**The Role:**
+ This exciting and challenging full-time role is based at RAAF Base Amberley, QLD and supports the operation, maintenance, test and evaluation of Electronic Attack and Air Combat Training systems in support of the ADF.
+ The role requires knowledge and experience of ICT equipment and software.
+ The ideal candidate will have prior experience of Configuration Management, Global Trade, and documentation classification.

+ Identify configuration items and parts and define the system's and/or parent equipment's design architecture in the Configuration Status Accounting System.
+ Provide guidance in the development and maintenance of the configuration management system and tools.
+ Act as approval authority for configuration management deliverables.
+ Coordinate EATS Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities and act as the liaison between ACEASPO Technical Change Board and RAUS EATS CCB.
+ Provide support for product audits and reviews of software and hardware configuration items.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications:**
+ Essential - Requires a University Degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
+ Essential - Accreditation as a Certified International Configuration Manager by International Society of Configuration Management.
+ Essential - Minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience (when a University Degree is held).
+ Essential - Requires advanced knowledge of configuration management techniques, particularly in a defence electronics environment.
+ Desirable - Familiarity with engineering management systems such as Windchill and EAGLE systems.
+ Understand the requirements for the transmission and archiving of project data, including classified data.
+ Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security clearance as needed. The Opportunity:
The Mission IT and Security Technician - System Administrator will provide technical expertise and advice to support the Mission Planning Systems (MPS) including Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), under the Defence and Technology Solutions Line of Business within KBR. Under direction from the Project Manager, this position will support the delivery of a number of projects primarily for Defence, in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements, ensuring the delivery of secure, compliant and accredited IT systems.
Responsibilities
+ Perform the System Administration duties for maintaining a Deployable IT Network and the associated ICT infrastructure inclusive of:
+ Technical support to the development, introduction into service, and sustainment of the network.
+ Management of the evolution of hardware, data, tools and processes in fixed and deployed IT environments, for ADF mission planning systems.
+ Deployment, configuration, maintenance and upgrade of server and workstation infrastructure.
+ Monitoring and management of network infrastructure, including routers and switches.
+ Applying host-based firewall configuration and management, ensuring the security of remote devices in a deployed network.
+ Maintaining internal virtual environments to support software development, testing and provide operational support.
+ Ensuring network peripheral devices such as printers and scanners remain functional.
+ Monitoring network backups and implementing recovery procedures if/when required.

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Structures, this dynamic role will see you plan and execute scheduled, unscheduled and deferred defect maintenance requirements as directed by crew leaders and AME in alignment with approved Aircraft Maintenance Documentation (AMD).

**About You:**

+ Cert III Aviation Trade (Specialist Trades)

+ Thorough knowledge of the structure and use of interactive technical publications
+ Knowledge / experience in DASA regulatory environment

**Your Role:**
As a Field Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing Subject Matter Expert advice on engines, avionics and military systems that require engineering approval.
You will also have accountability for:
+ The provision of AOG support that delivers maintenance and trouble-shooting advice to the customer
+ The provision of continuous training to maintenance to personnel when requested
+ The provision of away base assistance to facilitate the maintenance and repair of aircrafts
+ The provision of assistance in resolving the aircrafts parts shortages and/or provisioning issues

+ A minimum of 10 years aviation maintenance experience
+ A minimum of 3 years' experience on Airlift type aircraft
+ Demonstrated working knowledge of DASR regulations

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Undertake training requirements and maintain apprenticeship progression and journal currency as directed, to successfully complete a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical);
+ Provide assistance and perform maintenance tasks as directed, to facilitate repair, service and overhaul of aeronautical product within the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Technical airworthiness guidelines;
+ Ensure safe work practices are followed and observe relevant Work, Health and Safety regulations and procedures; and
+ Ensure technical, quality and regulatory compliance is conducted and maintained to meet Defence Aviation Safety Regulations and ISO certifications.
**Experience, Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Must have successfully completed all theory training requirements of a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) delivered by a recognised training provider.
+ A willingness to learn with genuine interest and passion for the role.
+ Effective communication skills: Actively listens and communicates with others clearly, openly, and respectfully.
