Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care & Daily Living: Assist residents with personal hygiene, including showering, toileting, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene and skin care.
- Mobility: Support mobility and safe transfers using hoists or walking aids while encouraging independence.
- Mealtime & Nutrition Assistance: Aid residents during mealtimes including feeding support and monitoring dietary needs using appropriate adaptive methods.

- Household & Environmental Support: Perform household duties such as cleaning to ensure safe and tidy shared spaces.
- Safety & Compliance: Create a hazard-free environment and promptly raise concerns regarding resident safety or wellbeing. Comply with the Aged Care Code of Conduct, Quality Standards and Confidentiality.
- Team Collaboration: Work with Registered Nurses, Allied Health and Lifestyle coordinators to deliver holistic multidisciplinary care.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing), or equivalent qualification. (Not Mandatory)
- Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Care, or if you have a passion to begin your career in aged care.

Position Overview:
As a Care Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents living in our aged care facility. Your support enables residents to retain independence and maximise their quality of life in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care & Daily Living: Assist residents with personal hygiene, including showering, toileting, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene and skin care.
- Mobility: Support mobility and safe transfers using hoists or walking aids while encouraging independence.
- Mealtime & Nutrition Assistance: Aid residents during mealtimes including feeding support and monitoring dietary needs using appropriate adaptive methods.
- Support Health & Wellbeing: Support residents with chronic conditions, early palliative care needs or cognitive impairment such as dementia, while maintaining dignity and comfort.
- Clinical Support: Assist with medication administration, observing vital signs, reporting any health concerns promptly to nursing staff and supporting residents with basic health monitoring tasks under direction.
- Emotional & Social Connection: Provide companionship, meaningful conversations and emotional presence to reduce isolation and promote well-being.
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain accurate records of care provided, incidents, health changes, medication logs, resident preferences and communicate effectively with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
- Household & Environmental Support: Perform household duties such as cleaning to ensure safe and tidy shared spaces.
- Safety & Compliance: Create a hazard-free environment and promptly raise concerns regarding resident safety or wellbeing. Comply with the Aged Care Code of Conduct, Quality Standards and Confidentiality.
- Team Collaboration: Work with Registered Nurses, Allied Health and Lifestyle coordinators to deliver holistic multidisciplinary care.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing), or equivalent qualification. (Not Mandatory)
- Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Care, or if you have a passion to begin your career in aged care.

About the role:
The Administration Officer is the welcoming face of Uniting, providing comprehensive administrative support and managing reception duties in our residential aged care facility. Beyond typical administrative duties, this role is vital to delivering our person-centred approach and is key to supporting clients and their families throughout the moving-in process. You will proactively seek opportunities to engage with residents and foster meaningful connections within the household and the broader community.
This is a Permanent Part-Time position, Monday to Friday with a total of 62 hours per fortnight.
Your Key Accountabilities:
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, including residents' families.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure up-to-date rosters are accessible to all team members while managing the day-to-day rostering system.
- Organise meetings, schedule training sessions, and take minutes as required.
- Manage the ordering of supplies and consumables.
- Securely scan, upload, and file resident and staff documents in the SharePoint system.
- Process invoices promptly and accurately in the system.
- Communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and with varied needs.
- Assist residents by performing tasks, including room preparation, booking transport, and arranging services.

Your Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with computer systems, as the role involves working across various platforms such as CRM, rostering software, and WorkSmart Dynamics. The position is also responsible for online orders for laundry services and facility equipment/accessories.
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent. (Desirable, not mandatory)
- Experience in rostering is preferred.
