This exciting and challenging role involves delivering advanced airborne Electronic Warfare training, test and certification to Air, Land, Maritime and industry task units in support the ADF. The role entails operations from the back of Raytheon Australia's two Special Mission Aircraft, operating Electronic Attack systems, communications equipment, command and control (C2) as well as all associated support equipment.
Due to continued growth, Raytheon Australia is seeking an additional EWO who has the following skills and experience. The right candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, exceptional communications and leadership skills, and the desire to support ADF operations and exercises in remote locations.
Reporting to the Lead EWO, aircrew are required to support training and development, test and certification, trials, education and briefings at locations predominantly around Australia, and occasionally abroad.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Form part of the aircrew of our special mission EW Learjet 35A aircraft.
+ Assist the Lead EWO in maintaining a safe and effective working environment.
+ Act as Mission Commander and Operator for EW, test and certification missions.
+ Execute EW Mission battle rhythm including planning, briefing, execution and debriefing.
+ Contribute to tactical operating procedures and standards for EW mission operations.
+ Conduct deployments in support of domestic and international exercises as required.
**Skills, Experiences and Qualifications**
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a CASA Class 2 Medical Certificate and be eligible to obtain a current Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
+ Current AGSVA Security Clearance NV2
+ Must have prior experience in Maritime Air Warfare, Fighter Control or Air Battle Management (Essential)
+ A minimum of 4 years' Military Aircrew experience is highly desirable (Airborne Early Warning and Control, Weapon Systems Officer or Electronic Warfare Officer)
+ Ability to work autonomously or with minimal supervision in a multi-crew environment
+ Experience in ground or airborne instruction highly desirable

What you’ll be doing in this role
- You’ll provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents living in our aged care home, to help support their independence and improve their quality of life
- Providing daily living assistance such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes and with general mobility
- Assisting with medication and simple wound dressings and
- Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities.

Who we’re looking for
- Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
- You’ll have previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care if you’re studying or have recently become qualified.
- You’ll be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful, and you will be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.

We have five separate households, each with between 25 and 29 residents, including a Memory Support Unit for people living with dementia. Our Uniting Homemaker ensures that the community is thriving and doing things that are meaningful and enjoyable.
What you’ll be doing in this role
- You will be a clinical leader in the service, and you will develop, deliver and evaluate resident care plans to meet the individual needs of our residents
- You’ll need sharp clinical assessment skills and will take the lead in providing clinical services
- Play an important role in making sure the care provided meets residents’ individual goals
- You’ll liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members to advocate for clients’ quality of life
- Supervise and support our Personal Care Workers
- Practice in a holistic way, using your critical decision-making skills to lead the team.

Who we’re looking for
- You’ll have previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care if you have nursing experience in the wider health sector.
- You’ll be adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, a great time manager, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
- You’ll be committed to contemporary aged care nursing practice.
- You’ll hold a nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.
