Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to any changes in residents’ conditions and to clinical emergencies.
• Work closely with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary care team to assess care needs and develop individualised aged care plans.
• Review and update care plans regularly to reflect changing health status and personal goals.
• Ensure all nursing activities, progress notes and observations are clearly and accurately documented according to policy and legislative requirements.
• Supervise and mentor Enrolled Nurses, Personal Care Workers and other support staff to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care delivery.
• Provide clear clinical direction and guidance, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Support staff to develop their knowledge and skills in aged care best practice.
• Maintain a safe, supportive and homelike environment that promotes residents’ health, comfort, security and quality of life.

Skills & Experience
• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (NEC).
• Minimum one year of practical nursing experience, ideally in residential or community aged care.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (current or dated within five years).
• Fully vaccinated for influenza (annually) and COVID-19.
• Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and person-centred care principles.
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
