**Description**
**Your Role:**
The Certification Lead Engineer ensures the UAS Design Holder obligations are established and maintained while supporting Triton CAM Services. The Triton Certification Lead Engineer is a key leadership position within the Triton program and reports directly to the Triton Engineering and Technical Services Manager.
You will also have accountability for:
+ The Triton Certification Lead Engineer is responsible for the management of the NGA Triton Continued Airworthiness system.
+ Ensure the Design Safety Baseline is effectively managed and maintained against Technical Directives and Bulletins issued by USN FST, and that the UAS design's contribution to the System risk is characterised.
+ Advise the Engineering and Technical Services Manager where any certification policy or compliance issue may affect other policies or SRSPO contractual requirements.
+ Educate and train staff on regulatory and procedural requirements regarding Continued Airworthiness processes or procedures, including managing design changes and repairs.
+ Provide oversight of and direction to certification and assurance activities including cyber worthiness, ASI and PSI, software engineering, and system safety.
+ Conduct regular review and updates of Continued Airworthiness processes and procedures.
+ Contribute to the development of engineering procedures as part of continuous improvement activities.
+ Comply with NGA's policies and procedures.
**About You:**
+ The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV2
+ Engineering or Technical Equivalent Degree Level Qualifications (Engineers Australia Registered preferred)
+ Advanced Engineering/Technical/Management Degree
+ Technical qualification associated with planning and scheduling an advantage (certificate level or above)
+ Professional/technical and/or project management qualifications an advantage
+ Demonstrated experience in Defence/Aerospace industry leading diverse technical teams
+ Ability to lead and manage a team
+ High level communication and prioritization skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team focused environment

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team to support critical Modernisation and uplifting of Electronic Warfare capability that protect national security. As an Systems Engineer, you have a passion for contributing to the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to testing, production, and ongoing support of Defence products. Your ability to collaborate, adapt to new technologies, and deliver high-quality solutions makes you an indispensable part of any team. .
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to:
+ Undertake with the assistant engineers, the development of Technical Investigations and Technical Instructions relating to platform systems, including the verification and validation of technical data.
+ Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop design requirements in the context of engineering change management and configuration management relating to Mechanical and Electrical platform systems.
+ Participate in Engineering design Reviews and the development of Engineering Support Reports.
+ Work both within and to the requirements of the Authorised Engineering Organisation.
+ Work to the requirements of Contractor Engineering Management Plan.
+ Assist with preparation and/or review of work instructions and maintenance schedules.
+ Conducting work to a high standard, including work on engineering reports and design contract documents.
+ Working within Certification Standards and established industry practices.
+ Develop and maintain relationships with key customer and supplier contacts.
+ Provide assistance to team members including graduate levels as and when required.
+ Other duties as directed.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential:
+ Degree qualified, Chartered Professional Engineer
+ Demonstrated ability to develop and execute Systems Engineering Management Plans.
+ Hands-on experience in configuration management practice.
+ Working within Certification Standards and established industry practices.
+ Working within Certification Standards and established industry practices.
+ Familiar with CASG Engineering policy and procedures, technical assurance frameworks
+ Experience in risk management.
+ Experience in Verification and Validation (V&V) planning and test execution.
+ NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance.
Desirable:
+ High standard of written communication skills
+ Working within Certification Standards and established industry practices.
+ Able to communicate effectively in workshops management meetings
+ Familiar with Export Controls
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
+ An understanding of Electronic Warfare
+ Defence experience (Uniformed, APS or Contractor)

**The Role**
Provide systems engineering services associated with requirements, integration, verification and validation (V&V).
**The specific services may include:**
+ Development, delivery and update of Functional Baseline (FBL) and Allocated Baseline (ABL) specifications & Interface Requirement Specifications (IRS) in DOORS
+ Develop requirements traceability between all specifications to build a holistic DOORS database
+ Assist in management of DOORS database in accordance with the requirements management plan
+ Update the requirements management plan as required
+ Conduct V&V activities, including writing procedures, inspection or analysis reports, and conducting or witnessing demonstration and test events.
+ Develop, deliver and update Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) parts 1 and 2 for FBL and ABL specifications and IRSs in DOORS.
+ Develop and deliver requests for problem resolution (RPRs) to initiate Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) workflows
+ Develop and implement ECPs to support delivery of pre-engineered change packages to platform SPOs.
+ Participate in working groups to coordinate the design and installation of ship infrastructure
+ Assist the compilation of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) to achieve system certification
+ Support the conduct of certification working groups with CoA, Navy, certification bodies and industry participants
+ Prepare deliverables for review
+ Conduct document reviews as input to System Reviews
+ Prepare and deliver presentation material during System Reviews
**Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:**
+ A qualified practitioner with degree qualifications or relevant industry experience
+ Demonstrated competency in the use of DOORS®
+ Minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience required.
+ Practical knowledge of programs and relevant systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage knowledge in daily work.
**Desirable Skills, Experience and Qualifications:**
+ Demonstrated a competency in the use of system architecture tools (e.g. CAMEO Systems Modeller or CATIA Magic).
+ Demonstrated experience in System Safety and/or Security.
