We have an opportunity for a Civil Engineer with our Community Development team in Wide Bay. In this permanent full time role you will manage the civil design and documentation on a variety of urban infrastructure and roads projects in both the public and private sectors, across an extensive regional client portfolio. You will be involved in resolving design constraints, coordinating projects, interfacing with various disciplines and deliver projects within a multi-disciplinary team.

You will be involved in resolving design constraints, coordinating projects, interfacing with various disciplines and deliver projects within a multi-disciplinary team.

If you have experience in design and delivery of roads projects, we love to hear from you! Transport Main Roads experience will be highly regarded.
**Day to day tasks would involve:**
+ Design, coordination and project management of urban and road projects, from feasibility through to construction
+ Prepare technical reports and specifications
+ Provide technical expertise to clients and support projects
+ Manage projects including scheduling and the preparation of project budgets
+ Coordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects
+ Undertake and manage site inspections
+ Contribute to the development of Stantec's knowledge and skills in civil engineering including planning, design, and construction
+ Maintain existing and develop new, trusted relationships with key clients
+ Assist in the securing and delivery of projects by way of business development and client relationship management
**What you will bring to the team**
+ Bachelor of Civil Engineering
+ Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and the delivery of projects, ideally with roads. TMR experience will be beneficial
+ Experience and a sound understanding of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modelling and construction
+ Project management skills
+ Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including report writing.
