The Security Engineer Electronic Access Control System role is responsible for designing the EACS and CCTV systems for a large infrastructure project in Sydney from the initial stage through to final certification in accordance with all relevant contract documents and referenced standards
+ Design and implement security systems tailored to the specific needs of major projects.
+ Conduct site assessments to determine the optimal placement of cameras and equipment
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security systems with existing infrastructure
+ Ownership of the design/engineering for electronic security requirements in terms of scope, schedule, and budget
+ Provide technical direction in the field of Electronic Security to all relevant stakeholders
+ Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., electrical, electronic, controls, mechatronic, computer science)
+ Minimum of 5 years' experience in Electronic Access Control Systems and/or CCTV including extensive design knowledge
+ Proven track record in a project engineering capacity involved in the delivery of technology-based / Security projects
+ Previous exposure to a site based, construction environment
+ You must obtain/maintain an appropriate security clearance for your customer sites and applicable projects
