About the role
L3Harris IMSA are seeking an EVMS experienced, highly-driven, detail-orientated accounting professional, to oversee finances for some of our high profile programs. Through close collaboration with PMO stakeholders and the central finance team, the Program Finance Analyst will monitor and control project finances to support the delivery of critical projects on time and within budget.
Core activities of this role will be centered around tracking project financial performance, implementing EVMS reporting and analysis, report to L3Harris Finance EAC status, budgeting and forecast projects.
About you
To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;
+ Defence Industry experience and knowledge of CASG Cost and Profit.
+ Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management, Program Finance deliverables and driving an Earned Value tool (COBRA etc.)
+ Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles
+ Familiarity with Costpoint or similar ERP systems relevant to Project Reporting.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
+ Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects.

As a Business Analyst within the Data team, you will drive data adoption and accelerate its time-to-value across the organisation. You will play a critical role in maintaining, managing, and enhancing our matching and quoting technology, as well as a suite of data and AI-powered tools. This role requires a blend of technical aptitude, the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences, and a passion for staying informed about the evolving lending landscape.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Ensure the consistent accuracy of Valiant’s matching and quoting technology, as well as Valiant’s AI Assistants, by conducting thorough stress-testing of their performance and outcomes.
Engage with Business Development Managers (BDMs), Credit Analysts, and other stakeholders from our Lender Panel to ensure the data integrity and trustworthiness of all lending products on our platform.
Translate lending product details from plain language into a programmatic format suitable for our matching engine.
Support the sales team by coaching them on how to maximise the value of our tech products, including demonstrating product usage, addressing questions and feedback, and promoting internal adoption.
Liaise with all functions within Valiant to identify new opportunities where AI can be leveraged to streamline processes.
Conduct research on the lending space (e.g., new feature identification) to improve and contextualise our tech product portfolio (e.g., our matching technology).
Critically evaluate Valiant and third-party datasets, and perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and insights that can inform business decisions.
Skills and Experience
Excellent team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to synthesise complex topics and communicate them clearly to non-technical audiences.
Proven stakeholder management skills.
Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software.
Experience with JSON data structures, or a strong willingness to learn and work with JSON.
A demonstrated curiosity and interest in AI and its business applications.
General finance knowledge and lending knowledge, while not mandatory, are highly valued.
Familiarity with SQL and Python as analytical tools is highly valued but not mandatory.
2-5 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, research analysis, or a similar role.
Academic or trade qualifications
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline preferred (e.g., Business, Economics, Data science).

**Your role:**
- Collaborate with stakeholders and gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and align expectations.
- Plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure delivery on time and within scope
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and manage project changes.
- Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and global IT support teams.
- Provide guidance and training to users during project rollouts and change management initiatives.
**Your expertise:**
+ Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field.
+ 3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Project Manager role, preferably in a hybrid capacity.
+ Minimum 2 years' experience with delivering custom applications using the ServiceNow platform
+ Strong understanding of business process mapping, requirements gathering, writing user stories and project management methodologies.
+ Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. ServiceNow) and documentation tools (e.g., Visio).
+ Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
