**Your main responsibilities:**
+ Provide technicalassistanceto Customersregardingthe product sizing, applications, system solutions, accessories, installations, prices, etc. assuring the functionality of the solution in practice.
+ Follow up on Customer interactions within set SLA.
+ Process special orders and inquiries in coordination with the suppliers.
+ Support sales teams by handling tenders and projects, providingdimension, specifications, calculations, time of delivery,operationand maintenance issues, etc.
+ Identifybusiness opportunities and handover to external sales
+ Ensure customer master data is updated on portfolio of customers under their responsibility.
+ Communicate, collaborate, and provide support with the respective product segment or other suppliers, where local problem solving is not available.
+ Act for implementation of the Quality Policy, Environment, and Security of Work to achieve the proposed targets.
+ Support with ad hoc tasks defined by leadership.
**Your background:**
+ Associate or bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (minimum of 5+ years)
+ Previousexperience within Customer Services. Relevant administrative experience, organizational skills & accountability with the Customer.
+ Knowledge of business structure, products and key market needs to create a successful Customer centric experience.
+ Demonstrate working knowledge SAP (CRM/SD).
+ Familiarity with MS Office applications.
+ Fundamental Product and Application Knowledge - Interpret type keys,identifypumps vs spare parts, kits vs motors,identifywhere product is built (not essential).
+ Good communicationand networking skills together with the ability to build strong and trusting relationships with both Internal and External Stakeholders.
+ Excellent written and spoken English.

**Job Overview**
TE Connectivity's Field Application Engineering Teams work intimately with customers to recommend products and solutions for new and existing applications. They identify new applications, requirement modifications and enhancements to meet customer specifications and conduct on-site installation and service of product and are responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle for potential application of company products to meet customer needs, including identifying opportunities; determining solutions; creating demand; preparing detailed product specifications and technical marketing support; ensuring high quality and timely project execution and conducting follow-up technical support. The Field Application Engineer (FAE) is responsible for providing technical support for technical services and application engineering functions. This will include close interaction with the product management, sales, engineering groups and external customers for the High Voltage Cable Accessories portfolio for applications up to 245kV system.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Preparation and management of product documentation such as bills of materials and installation instruction, and TE part creation (TCPN Creation)
+ Provide product selection advice to customers and internal sales team.
+ Application engineering / customization of existing products to meet customers' requirements.
+ Customer support during introduction and installation of new and existing products on site / at customers' facilities
+ Product demonstration, training, and presentation; this will require jointing skills to be able to install Cable accessories products for High Voltage applications up to 245kV.
+ Liaise with Product Management and Engineering as part of the new product development process providing ideas and customer/application requirements.
+ Provide technical input into the tendering process.
+ Train the customers on new and existing products.
+ Travel domestic/international as required to provide product training and demonstration + customer visits

+ Qualified cable jointer up to 245kV cable accessories applications
+ Engineering background in electrical is preferred

+ Would have served a craft apprenticeship within the electrical engineering field and would be qualified to Degree or HND level in Electrical Engineering, or trade qualified cable jointer
+ Ideally would have experience of working within the Power Utility or Cable/accessory industry.

**Job Duties include:**
+ Provide quality customer service for the MineStar software.
+ Analyse data and logs, build test systems and recreate issues to test solutions.
+ Troubleshoot the MineStar ecosystem to identify issues and provide temporary and permanent solutions to restore software functionality.
+ Restore site services, resolve issues, and escalate to advanced support when needed.
+ Provide rotational hotline coverage for MineStar Products.
+ Build meaningful relationships with customers and dealers in your region.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Critical thinking skills

+ Proven ability to learn technical knowledge with a process-orientated analytical approach
+ Technical and/or Mining experience:

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide first and second level end-user support on a wide range of systems, including business applications, internet/intranet and web-based applications.
- Maintain and configure virtual servers and hardware, Cisco Call managers, VoIP phones and user accounts.
- Maintains accurate inventory of all IT equipment including networks configurations and drawings.
- Resolve user hardware and software problems with printers, laptops and desktop PCs.
- Sets up computers with software, security patches, email accounts, security and network connection settings.
- Provide technical support for Microsoft Windows 2012/Win7 and Linux operating systems.
- Correct system network problems and coordinate corrective action with third party vendors where applicable.
- Support remote access issues with FTP, RDP or VPN. Document Information Technology procedures and generates manuals for custom applications
- Contacts and follows up with Information Technology vendors and consultants
- Provides low-level support for minor internal application requirements, e.g. Microsoft Access, PHP, JSP, SQL.
- Research and negotiate pricing to make Information Technology purchases with multiple vendors
- Ensure, promote, and maintain health and safety practices/compliances at site and within the workplace.

**Position Summary**
As Application Support Specialist you will deliver comprehensive high-quality support on UKG's SMB (Small/Medium Business) software and hardware products. **Qualifications and Experience:**
