About the Role:
+ As a CBRE Maintenance Technical Apprentice, you will develop on the job skills to maintain buildings, industrial systems, and equipment on an ongoing basis.
+ This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
+ We are currently hiring Apprentice in AC & Refrigeration to join us and support Data Centre Critical Environment.
We are Looking for multiple headcounts from Year 2 to Year 4 in Electrical Trade.
+ Location of work : Derrimut, Melbourne
+ Work on shift - 12 hours roaster - 4 on- 2 days/2 nights, 4 days off (6 am -18:00)
What You'll Do:
+ Receive training from current operations team in proper job safety and repair procedures.
+ Observe operations team while they perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
+ Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
+ Work with management to ensure energy management by taking measures to verify that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
+ Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
+ Follow a set procedure in the performance of repetitive tasks or job activities.
+ Impact through methods, tasks, and duties which are clearly defined and followed with little to no discretion.
What You'll Need:
+ High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a college program or technical school.
+ In progress Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrical
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to develop skills to perform basic activities in own job.
+ Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
+ Applicant required to provide latest student transcript
+ Must be Australian Citizen - NV1 clearance is required
+ Must have driver's license

The Electronic Attack Air Combat Training Support (EATS) program is based at RAAF Base Amberley, QLD **.** The program supports the RAAF Super Hornet and Growler aircrew and maintainer training system.
**Key Responsibilities**
The engineering team supports maintenance of the RAAF training systems by:
+ Analysing electrical (computing & ICT) systems,
+ Determining compliance status,
+ Investigating hardware sparing and obsolescence issues,
+ Conducting evaluation and testing,
+ Undertaking life cycle costing analysis of critical sub-systems,
+ Ensuring accurate configuration documentation.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
+ Requires a University Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering or related discipline (Computer Science).
+ Systems Engineering experience is desirable.
+ Ability to manage small projects or processes within area of responsibility, as required.
+ Defence platform-based or sustainment experience
+ Aviation knowledge / experience, specifically experience with F/A-18F and EA-18G aircraft.
