Amazon Australia is seeking a motivated Program Manager with a strong track record of developing strategies and executing programs.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a background in program management, operations, and cross-functional leadership for large-scale strategic initiatives. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, able to think strategically (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoy working in a progressive and data-driven environment. You should possess strong analytical and business acumen, exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence without authority.
In this role you will be responsible for conducting end-to-end program management of new initiatives across a range of operational verticals. With a strong focus on last mile, you will work with a large and diverse group of stakeholders to implement initiatives that influence our key pillars - quality, cost, capacity, speed and sustainability. At the same time, you will be the single threaded leader responsible for building and executing a parking strategy to support the expansion of a critical program for our business. Success in this role requires proficiency in managing complex logistics challenges, analyzing data, managing a diverse set of stakeholders, driving process improvements and creating scalable solutions.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations
- Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions
- Influence design and development of strategic processes
- Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end-to-end outcomes for Amazon customers
- Conduct hypothesis driven problem solving to identify improvement areas and oversee all supporting analytics, including the data mining, complex modeling, insight generation and recommendations
- Lead large and diverse groups of stakeholders to implement new initiatives
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- 4+ years' professional experience in Supply Chain and Logistics, Operations and/or E-Commerce

**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE**
The Sovereign Services and Delivery (SS&D) organization resides in SAP's Customer Success and Delivery (CS&D) board area and as a key pillar of SS&D, SAP Cloud Application Services (CAS) offers our customers a seamless and consistent experience by simplifying end-to-end cloud application configuration and management.
Reporting to the Head of Global Cloud Application Services, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise across the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and suite of applications to ensure seamless delivery execution of SAP CAS for BTP Operations activities.
**EXPECTATIONS AND DUTIES**
+ Fulfill the role of SAP BTP and Integrations Senior Consultant within the SAP Cloud Application Services team.
+ Accountability for the delivery of cloud technical services for SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Cloud Identity Services, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Build and SAP Integration Suite.
+ Responsible for the creation and administration of cloud delivery processes, standard operating procedures and operational work instructions to simplify and streamline service delivery.
+ Deliver maintenance and uplift of SAP CAS portfolio for SAP cloud applications with sovereign capabilities by reviewing, testing and sharing feedback on service catalogues.
+ Support the business as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for SAP CAS for BTP Operations opportunities.
+ Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts for relevant SAP cloud solutions and associated SAP Sovereign Services & Delivery professionals from strategy, portfolio, engineering and delivery teams
+ Be an exemplar of what good security practices and a positive security culture look like in action
+ Collaborate with internal and external delivery teams including quality assurance
+ Continuously upskill, participating in and leading solutioning activities for new and existing SAP BTP related activities
+ Be a trusted integration point between CAS and SAP solution/ product areas and hands-on support for customer incidents/ requests.
**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
The ideal candidate has gained relevant technical and functional expertise in SAP BTP projects and/or operations delivery. As a self-starter, the candidate will need to be able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and be willing to participate in working groups, internal initiatives and assist other team members in helping to create a lasting, customer-centric market presence, for cloud application services. A key measure of success would be to increase CAS adoption, performance against commercial deliverables, improve customer satisfaction, retention, deliver to revenue and margin expectations.
This role requires the flexibility to work as part of a shift rotation and out of hours to support incidents, upgrades/patching, deployments and other support activities, as needed.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
- 10+ years of cloud and on-premise integration experience
