**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 8 years of experience in customer-facing roles including interfacing with executive stakeholders and managing and delivering IT technical implementations, transformation programs, or related initiatives.
+ Experience in supporting enterprise customers in Cloud Professional Services organizations, IT consulting, or program management organizations.
**Preferred qualifications:**

In this role, you will be part of a team of cyber experts that will conduct cyber assurance activities for the private cloud services, data centers and underlying networks for customers in Australia. You will recommend cyber controls and evaluate systems according to the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) Principle 23-ICT Certification and Accreditation, the Information Security Manual (ISM), the Australian Cyber Security Center (ACSC) guidelines, and the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and other controls in agreement. You will contribute to the identification of cloud related security and compliance design/development/deployment friction points and collaborate across teams to resolve them. You will support Google's Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) membership by maintaining a security program that complies with the DSPF and other related Australian government security obligations as required by legislation or regulation to ensure Google's ongoing compliance in the Australian market. You will hold the role of a Security Officer (SO) for Google Australia's DISP membership.

**Your Role**
+ You will use relationship management techniques to develop selling opportunities within end customer organizations; penetrating new divisions and organizations within assigned accounts. Build, harness and develop new selling relationships including developing new direct selling opportunities.
+ Strong executive presence and ability to engage at a senior customer level to drive Nutanix mindshare and strategic thought leadership.
+ You will encourage and support scheduled sales call appointments with prospects in our end customer organizations. This includes collaborating with cross team specialists and Nutanix Channel Partner Representatives to also participate in the sales calls to help qualify and accelerate

**What You Will Bring**
+ 10+ years of sales experience in Enterprise Software for Public sectors
+ Existing relationship with federal ministries would be essential.
+ Proven track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in contiguous, multiple years.
+ Experience that demonstrates a strong level of expertise in technical specifications required to sell Nutanix products and services is required.
+ You will have natural flair to deliver impactful and highly articulated presentations at C- Level engagement.
+ Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills.

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

The Account Executive's primary responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing new business to existing and net new customers. 4. Advance and close sales opportunities - through the successful execution of the sales strategy and roadmap.
