**Job Summary**
Red Hat Canberra Sales is looking for a pre-sales engineer to represent Red Hat to Operations, Developers and Technical Leads. To be successful, you'll need to be hands-on with Red Hat's open source technology to gain credibility with them. You'll also need to be creative and self-driven in promoting how Red Hat's portfolio can solve the problems government agencies regularly face.
You'll get hands-on experience with many cutting-edge technologies such as _Native Kubernetes Security, ServiceMesh, GitOps and Ansible._ You'll advocate for an often overlooked "Kubernetes-first" approach to cloud, on-premises, and hybrid computing using Red Hat's leading OpenShift Kubernetes solution as a cornerstone.
Being customer-facing, you will need to be an excellent communicator (written and verbal), have strong people skills, and be comfortable representing Red Hat at events and technical forums to everyone from CIOs to user groups about Red Hat's solutions.

**What you will do**
+ Build and own trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their business, IT environments, and strategies. Use this insight to appropriately propose Red Hat solutions

You'll engage in solutioning and support on the most strategic opportunities, intervene in high-risk complex deliveries, and contribute to shape the strategic direction around data architecture. What you'll do
* As an AI architect assigned to a client project, you will typically work closely with delivery teams and client stakeholders to provide technical leadership, shape deals and propositions, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, and produce design artifacts
* Design and architect advanced AI solutions including agentic systems that autonomously perform complex tasks, RAG pipelines for enterprise knowledge management, and custom copilots using Copilot Studio, ensuring seamless integration with existing business processes and data systems
* Assist clients in their journey to Microsoft Azure or leverage their existing investment in it - you can expect a significant focus on applying cloud architectural patterns and migration strategies
* Play a key role in Avanade's sales process with the responsibility for shaping the high-level design, estimates, and contractual details for client proposals in collaboration with other subject matter experts in the business
* As a senior member of the Avanade technical community, you will provide coaching and mentoring to motivate and inspire more junior colleagues from within your team and across the organization
* Translate complex technical solutions and present them in different formats; to business decision makers into business outcomes, to Market in engaging video or blog format content, to internal Sales Teams in battle card format
* Engage in early conversations with the client and/or sales team and support origination and deal qualification, become the trusted advisor. Prepare and represent the solution in Deal Reviews and play an active role in Orals, Client Presentations, and negotiations discussions with key client buyers
* Complete pricing, using standard solution architecture processes, methods, estimating, and modelling tools to drive quality and minimize time to solution through process and reuse. Understand and leverage different Pricing Models and work with Sales Leads to articulate deal pricing. Ensuring a deal is both winnable and deliverable, mitigating potential risks
Skills and experiences
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft; Proficiency in Azure AI Services including Azure ML, Azure AI Search, and Azure Bot Services; knowledge of similar services in other cloud platforms like AWS and GCP is highly regarded.
* Experience with Microsoft AI Foundry or equivalent software for model development and deployment, Copilot Studio for building custom copilots and conversational AI solutions, plus proficiency with modern AI libraries including Transformers, LangChain, OpenAI SDK, and Semantic Kernel
· Proven experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures with vector databases (Azure AI Search, FAISS, Chroma), and building sophisticated AI agents using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
* Skill in programming with Python (must have), R, or .NET (highly regarded).
* Awareness of channels to market and how to work in a Microsoft and partner eco system to ensure Customer Success.

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 7+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Can take the lead on a complex technical projects, which may require the participation of other teams to deliver.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers
- Can create proof of concepts, demos, and/or scripts from scratch or leveraging reusable components.
- Experience in working with Federal government
- Able to present to technical and business audiences (training, workshops, publications)

Job Description
As a Sr. Partner Solutions Architect on the Kuiper Partner Network (KPN) team, you will play a critical role in helping Kuiper's global distribution partners successfully onboard, integrate, and launch satellite internet service in their contracted territories. You will serve as a technical advisor and trusted guide, helping partners architect scalable and secure solutions using Kuiper's APIs, AWS services, and industry-standard practices, particularly across telecommunications systems such as BSS (Business Support Systems) and OSS (Operations Support Systems).
You will work closely with internal Kuiper engineering and product teams to drive partner success through architecture reviews, solution planning, implementation support, and ongoing technical enablement. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role that blends systems integration, cloud architecture, and customer-facing technical leadership
Key job responsibilities
Technical Leadership
* Design scalable partner integration architectures using Kuiper's cloud-native APIs
* Guide partners through integration of BSS/OSS systems with Kuiper backend services
* Lead technical discovery sessions to gather partner requirements
* Ensure architectures meet reliability, security, and operational requirements
* Develop reusable patterns, integration playbooks, and best practices
* Provide hands-on technical guidance across the full onboarding lifecycle
Partner Engagement
* Act as the lead technical point of contact for strategic distribution partners
* Support implementation planning, technical reviews, and milestone execution
* Provide clear guidance on API usage, data flows, authentication, and integration patterns
* Enable partners to launch with confidence through deep solution engagement
* Capture and escalate partner feedback to drive continuous product improvement
Cross-Team Collaboration
* Work closely with Kuiper product, engineering, and TPM teams to resolve integration issues
* Coordinate across time zones to ensure consistent global partner support
* Influence internal roadmaps based on partner needs and integration friction
* Support business development and partner operations teams with technical insight
Technical Enablement
* Create architecture diagrams, documentation, and reference implementations
* Deliver technical enablement sessions for partner engineering and operations teams
* Conduct solution and readiness reviews prior to partner launch
* Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practice libraries
This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). A day in the life
This role requires close collaboration with partners across ASEAN and ANZ, along with the flexibility to support high-touch engagements in a global context. You'll also work closely with team members supporting LATAM and EMEA to help develop and scale our global partner practice. The Kuiper Distributor Network (KDN) is a globally diverse team which owns the onboarding, integration, and enablement of Kuiper's global distributors. We work with telecom operators and regional service providers to help them deliver satellite internet to their customers. Our mission is to make Kuiper partnerships frictionless, scalable, and successful through technical excellence and deep collaboration.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Strong understanding of RESTful / RPC APIs, IAM/security models, and integration architectures
- Familiarity with common BSS/OSS systems and integration challenges in telecom
- Demonstrated success in guiding technical implementations from design to launch
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with telecom providers, satellite service operators, or ISPs
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and solution patterns
- Understanding of service provisioning, billing, customer care, and CRM systems
- Prior experience integrating third-party systems with cloud platforms or network infrastructure
- Proven ability to create scalable documentation, reusable templates, and reference architectures
- Experience supporting cross-border partner engagements or distributed launch programs
- Ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures
