Job Description
We're seeking for an experienced Process Assistant to join the team at our Fulfillment Center in Dandenong for night shift.
The Process Assistant will support the Area Manager, and will hold responsibilities specific to your process path.
Key job responsibilities:
- Support and work in Pack and other departments as required,
- Helping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties,
- Providing coverage for Area Managers,
- Providing policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline),
- Tracking and reporting of ATS/labor hours,
- Assisting the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP compliance,
- Ensuring successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance,
- Participating in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity,
- Fully understanding workflow and daily production goals,
- Assisting in keeping work area clean and organised,
- Identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area,
- Coaching associates to work safely at all times
- Referring all job injuries immediately to area manager.
Basic Qualifications
- Previous experience leading teams,
- Availability to work 38 hours+/week, and overtime as required,
- Comfortable in lifting up to 16 kilos, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach, all with or without reasonable accommodation,
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members,
- Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience directly managing others,
- Experience working within a similar field (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail),
- Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement.

This Studentship is in the Electrical Connections Team, part of the CSIRO Mineral Resources Processing Program. There are 6 groups in the program, each group consists of 4-6 teams. Whilst the student will be embedded in a single team they are exposed to the science/engineering being conducted across the program.
CSIRO Mineral Resources is one of the largest minerals research and development groups in the world, partnering with industry, government and other sectors to deliver breakthrough innovation and solutions across the minerals value chain. The successful student will join our dynamic ‘Electrical Connections’ team in Clayton (Victoria), and work across various projects that will deliver a significant future Intellectual Property and Licencing (IP&L) revenue stream to the CSIRO Mineral Resources Processing Program. About the Role:
The Rust Software Engineering Lead focuses on developing robust, well-documented, and tested web and API-based applications, primarily using Rust. You'll collaborate closely with the SVP of Architecture, engineers, and product team to build internal libraries and contribute to greenfield projects. The front-end stack involves Rust (Leptos for WASM) and Tailwind CSS, with a strong emphasis on event-based architectures and AWS serverless technologies.

+ You will work in close collaboration with our SVP of Architecture, our engineering team and our product team to:
+ Write and re-write hardened, documented, and tested web and API-based applications
+ Build our growing collection of libraries
+ Define and enforce best practices of an expanding Rust team
+ Green-field work; front-end applications are written in Rust, using Leptos for WASM and Tailwind for CSS.
+ Preference on event-based architectures, cloud (AWS) and serverless.
Requirements:
+ Technical competence is critical
+ Passion for communication and collaboration across the business.
+ Solid experience creating and maintaining web based and API-based applications ideally in Rust.
+ Demonstrate having built non-trivial Rust projects, ideally web-related
+ Comfortable with Javascript/Typescript

+ Strong documentation skills and the mindset of an untested code is a broken code
+ Autonomous, dependable, responsible, and committed.
