Full-Time Apprentice Pastry Chef / Artisan Baker
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice to join our busy bakery and learn from an industry expert. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience making a wide range of products, including sourdough, croissants, cakes, slices, and savoury items like pies, vegetarian pasties, and quiches.
What you’ll be doing:
Using bakery machinery, commercial ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters
Assisting in the preparation of a variety of baked goods
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
Learning from an experienced chef to develop your skills
About the role:
Immediate start available
Early starts (4:30 am or 5:30 am) and one weekend day required
TAFE training at William Angliss College or workplace training, whichever works best
Chef jackets and aprons can be supplied
Paid award wage
About you:
Passionate about baking and willing to learn
Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings
Eligible to work in Australia (Australian citizen, permanent resident, or full working rights)
Holds a driver’s licence or can get to work for early starts
