**Introduction**
As a member the Promontory Australia team at IBM you will contribute to the firm's efforts in working with clients on challenging strategic, risk management, and regulatory compliance issues.
Our team of specialists offers the following services across Prudential, Conduct and AML Regulation:
· Risk Management - Providing advisory and assurance services regarding organisational transformation across risk management, governance, culture, accountability and compliance.
· Remediation Services - Assurance to regulators and firms over customer focused remediation programs.
· Regulatory Framework - Advising regulators and industry associations on building regulatory frameworks.
· Regulatory Liaison - Helping our clients navigate relationships with regulators.
· RegTech - Working with IBM teams and leveraging their technology assets in advising clients on AI based solutions and associated risk governance.
We have a diverse client base in Australia, which includes some of Australia's largest financial institutions and clients drawn from the public sector.
As an Associate Consultant, you will be responsible for managing risk, regulatory and compliance engagements on a day-to-day basis, analysing complex problems, developing recommendations to address client issues and heavily involved in reports and other deliverables. A strong consulting background with experience in non-financial risk management (including operational risk and resilience) and or superannuation is preferable. You will also be expected to draw upon your insights and networks to identify business opportunities for IBM Promontory to pursue.
**Your role and responsibilities**
To be successful in this role a candidate must have the stature to engage effectively with clients and potential clients at all levels. The candidate will also need to inspire and work effectively with team members drawn from a range of technical disciplines. Interact comfortably with executive management across industry and regulatory authorities. Key responsibilities will include:
* Manage projects and act as client point of contact on a day-to-day basis contributing to engagements being delivered to budget and meeting profit and realisation targets.

**Required technical and professional expertise**
· An undergraduate degree in either Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or Law - with postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
· At demonstrated experience in Financial services, Consulting, Regulator, Compliance, Risk management, Governance or legal.
· Track record working in a fast-paced and unstructured environment with aptitude for identifying and developing innovative solutions to client challenges.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
Analytics and data: Proven track record of successfully delivering highly analytical and data intensive work. Strong understanding of data governance and experience in working with large and unstructured datasets to draw meaningful and actionable insights and outcomes.
AI: A strong understanding of AI fundamentals, including AI governance, and model development and application.

**About the role**

**About BlackRock Investment Stewardship (BIS)**

The work of BlackRock's BIS team is an investment function. The team operates in seven offices across three regions - the Americas (New York and San Francisco); Europe, Middle East and Africa (London); and Asia-Pacific (Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney) - and undertakes engagement with and proxy voting at portfolio companies on behalf of clients globally.
BlackRock strives to take a common view in-house regarding our engagement and voting policies and uses the BIS group to coordinate, communicate and carry out these policies at approximately 18,000 shareholder meetings at which the firm votes each year.
**About the team**
The Sydney based Associate - BIS will be a key member of the BIS Asia Pacific team. The role reports to the Head of BlackRock Investment Stewardship Asia Pacific ex-Japan (AxJ). The intention is for the person in this role to specialize in corporate governance, environmental and social issues as an investment theme or risk. The successful candidate will cover several sectors across AxJ markets, for voting and engagement purposes, and facilitate the overall development of team capabilities.
**About the role:**
+ implementing approved corporate governance policies for the region through engagement with investee companies, including voting at shareholder meetings;
+ Supervising various corporate governance standards and best practices in the market and contribute to internal guidelines' refreshment;
+ Initiating, leading and/or participating in internal research projects as the need arises. This could also include contributing to key public policy debates and responding to policy consultations;
+ Working with the index equity portfolio managers, client business teams and other key internal partners to help strengthen alignment of BIS stewardship activities with clients' long-term financial objectives
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Serve as an expert in BlackRock's Investment Stewardship team focusing on corporate governance, including environmental and social issues/risks, from an investment perspective in AxJ for key audiences internally and externally. Ensure an accurate and widespread understanding of our activities in this area;
+ Conduct research and analysis of governance, environmental and social issues from an investment perspective and collaborate with the investment teams and other key stakeholders to share views;
+ Responsible for the implementation of the approved corporate governance policies for sectors and the key markets in the region through engagement with investee companies, including voting at shareholder meetings;
+ Engage with Chairmen, CEO(s) and other senior representatives of the companies in which BlackRock invests to address a range of issues including industry trends, strategy and financial performance in addition to corporate governance;
+ Contribute to regular updates of our publicly available documents, including voting guidelines and engagement priorities, ensuring their relevance and timeliness;
+ Work closely with the Head of BIS AxJ on assessing key regulatory and market developments in the BIS field to ensure that BlackRock's approach continues to be at the top tier edge of best practice.
+ When required, take ownership for communication with the regional advisory committee and, in conjunction with the Committee's chairperson, ensure its members remain informed of regional developments and are equipped to fulfill their function to guide the team's work;
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Minimum undergraduate with a degree in finance, economics, accounting or related discipline
+ An understanding of and curiosity about corporate governance, sustainability-related risks and opportunity as long-term investment considerations
+ Proven understanding of the securities' market regulatory environment in key Asia ex-Japan capital markets
+ Investment management, investment banking, corporate finance, and/or legal experience is an advantage
+ Proven track record of producing governance and ESG research and analysis
+ The ability to build and maintain successful relationships with colleagues across the firm and with external parties
+ Possess the ability to analyze and resolve sophisticated problems under time pressure
+ Detail oriented and persistent to see things through to completion whilst balancing multiple tasks and changing priorities
+ Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, leadership capabilities and strong work ethic
+ Organized, self-reliant and self-motivated
+ The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in both oral and verbal communication, including with senior colleagues, investee company representatives, and the public
+ Business proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean or Japanese a plus

We are looking for a Client Executive to join our Australia team.
What will you be doing?
The Client Executive's role is to develop and lead WWT's relationship with one or more strategic enterprise customers.
This role will involve establishing relationships at senior levels within your customer(s). You will be responsible for effectively selling WWT's advanced suite of solutions, services and capabilities across all levels of the customer, supported by an extended team of highly skilled individuals. You will also focus on driving the Strategic Account Planning and Execution. The role may require both domestic and international travel.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead the mission for WWT as an Executive Level sales professional for one or more strategic customers, by providing leadership to a team of sales professionals.
+ Drive sales achievement through a customer-centric approach to your business.
+ Provide accurate forecasting and execution on calculated areas within your account; assist team members with deal qualification and strategy to promote sales.
+ Expert-level strategic account planning, plan execution and competitive market positioning of WWT to ensure alignment of current and future business opportunities.
+ Work with various WWT team members, Technical Leadership and Directors on business solutions which will both enhance WWT's role with our customer as well as drive profitability.
+ Engage our company "Subject Matter Experts" to create integrated solutions that address customers' complex problems.
+ Ability to drive high-level to expert-level strategy meetings with complex and advanced designs.
Qualifications:
+ 7-12+ years' sales experience in a relevant industry and 7-10+ years of experience managing/leading a book of significant business.
+ Candidates must have a successful track record in sales.
+ Proven large account management with multiple business streams, cross-functional team utilisation and developing innovative business solutions solving complex business challenges for a customer. Proven P&L management experience is a plus.
+ Executive-level customer experience and current relationships are essential for success.
+ Experience with consultative services sales approach and/or disruptive technology is highly desired.
+ Understanding the diverse selling motions of Australian enterprise; including contracts and programmes and an ability to creatively identify traditional and non-traditional paths to market.
+ Outstanding communication and financial skills required.
+ Leadership experience a plus.

**About the role:**
The Sponsor Coverage Analyst will play a key role in the growth of the GCIB Sponsor Coverage team and will support ongoing portfolio management of sponsor clients within Singapore and the broader APAC region where required. This support will be critical to their role, with a core focus on customer servicing and risk management.
**What you'll be doing:**
+ Prepare pitch books / discussion materials to facilitate thematic dialogue, origination of M&A financing mandates and strategic financing dialogue with financial sponsors
+ Support senior team members in dialogues of financing transactions (structuring, valuation analysis, peer analysis
+ Help coordinate relationships with Financial Sponsor clients across Private Equity, Infra, Real Estate
+ Ensure appropriate coordination with different sponsor relationship teams including FI, LAF and Sector Coverage teams
+ Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met
**What we are looking for:**
+ 2+ years' experience at a leading Bank or Non Bank Financial Institution
+ Undergraduate degree in a business related field
+ Experience in debt transactions, developing presentations and, preferably a focus on leveraged and acquisition finance, relevant knowledge of financial sponsors
+ Robust credit base with strong financial analysis skills
+ Proficiency in the full suite of core Microsoft products, and will be strong in financial modelling
+ Possess an understanding of financial and economic markets
+ Be able to engage in independent research and analysis of customers and markets and apply critical thinking and a high level of attention to detail
+ The ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
+ Has strong interpersonal and presentations skills
+ Is a team player
+ Is a self-starter who applies initiative and has drive and enthusiasm
+ Has an analytical mindset and problem solving skills
+ Has the ability to work independently and prioritise a number of tasks across various work streams and alongside a number of stakeholders
