The Credit Officer 3 is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. **In this role, you're expected to:**
+ Appropriately assess credit risk of underwriting requests for commercial credit extensions of new and existing clients within the mid-market and institutional segments. Have ownership responsibilities for sound credit decisions and compliance with internal procedures/credit risk policy guidelines and standards.
+ Perform credit risk analysis based on credit requests memos of clients by analyzing the business, financing purpose, identifying the strengths and prevailing risk factors and rendering a final credit decision.
+ Perform detailed financial analysis on companies, including trend and ratio analysis, and interpret the financial information.
+ Perform credit analysis on companies, guarantors in order to assess repayment capacity based on cash flow statements, tax returns, and statements.
+ Perform industry research and other due diligence as needed.
+ Maintain a solid understanding of Citibank products and services - within Citi Commercial Banking and the broader organization.
+ Maintain compliance with Citibank credit policies/practices and regulatory policies, to ensure business unit is in adherence to the above and receives satisfactory ratings from internal and external auditors.
+ Assists business unit goals by continuous identification of process improvements and efficiencies that reduce costs and improve customer service levels. Work with management team on prioritization and implementation of approved actions.
+ Provide support to Head of Commercial Bank Risk Australia across projects, risk initiatives as required to support risk and broader organizational goals.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:**
**Qualifications:**
+ 6-10 years previous credit authority experience covering corporate credits within the mid-market and/or institutional banking is preferred. Prior experience with regulatory and compliance policy environment.
+ Proven analytical skills including the ability to read and assess individual and company financial statements, cash flow, industry/competitive analysis and projections, including complicated business structures with foreign subsidiaries and/or parent organizations.
+ Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources.

Who You AreYou're a strategic and detail-oriented Systems Engineer: Risk Manager with a strong background in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within complex systems and projects. Your expertise in risk management, system architecture, and engineering principles allows you to develop robust strategies that minimize potential threats and ensure system resilience. You excel at balancing technical requirements with risk mitigation strategies, ensuring that projects are both secure and successful.

What You'll DoIn the role of Systems Engineer: Risk Manager, your duties will include:
+ Lead risk assessments and develop risk management plans for systems and projects across various domains.
+ Identify potential risks, threats, and vulnerabilities within system designs and operations.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to create and implement risk mitigation strategies and solutions.
+ Conduct regular risk reviews and ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.
+ Use data analysis tools to evaluate system performance and identify areas for improvement.
+ Communicate risk assessments and mitigation plans to stakeholders and senior leadership.
+ Assist in the development of system architectures and designs with a focus on minimizing risks.
+ Support the creation of contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures to address critical system failures.
+ Stay up to date with industry best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements related to risk management.
Requirements:
+ Must be a US or Australian citizen
+ Must Possess an active US Top Secret/SCI w/ Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance.
+ Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field.
+ Must have 7 years of related experience supporting large systems and sub-systems.
+ Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
+ Proven experience in systems engineering and risk management.
+ Strong understanding of risk analysis tools and techniques.
+ Expertise in system architecture and lifecycle management.
+ Ability to assess and mitigate technical, operational, and financial risks.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
This role will be located in Alice Springs. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
