Tasks & responsibilities:
1. ssist site supervisors in implementing and monitoring worksite safety measures, including appropriate fencing, signage placement, pedestrian access points, and dust-control systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
2. Support the planning and coordination of minor demolition activities, ensuring that dismantling of non-structural components and site clearance tasks are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project timelines.
3. Oversee preparation processes for floor treatment and concrete surface works, including verifying that surfaces are appropriately cleaned and equipment is correctly positioned prior to the commencement of grinding or resurfacing tasks.
4. Monitor the segregation and disposal of demolition and construction waste, ensuring adherence to environmental management plans and promoting compliance with sustainability targets on site.
5. Conduct pre-operational checks on tools and equipment, including floor grinding machines and power tools, identifying potential hazards, verifying calibration where applicable, and escalating issues to maintenance teams.
6. Coordinate the distribution and movement of construction materials (e.g. timber, plywood, safety barriers) across different work areas, maintaining inventory logs and assisting with procurement tracking when necessary.
7. Participate in safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and site inspections, ensuring that safe work procedures are followed and reporting non-compliance or risks to the site manager.
8. Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, and trades personnel to communicate daily work plans, track progress, and ensure alignment with project specifications and schedules.
9. Assist in the verification and quality assurance of site preparation works, such as confirming that levels and surface conditions meet project standards before proceeding with trade installations.

As Group Leader you will play a leading part in the delivery of projects, either through a technical leadership role or through a Project Management role.
**Day to day tasks would involve:**
+ Management of current and future workloads/staffing levels within the Group to achieve attainment of work received and utilisation targets.
+ Oversee resourcing management, which will be carried out by Team Leader(s).
+ Create and foster great Project Technical Leads and great Team Leaders.
+ Ensure that the Group maintains an appropriate level of service to key Clients, by supporting Sector Leaders, Market Leaders and Project Managers in the successful delivery of projects.
+ Have an awareness of all significant projects within the Group
+ Lead Group strategic direction in respect of the development of staff, both technical and professional.
+ Assist all direct reports to develop a clear career path strategy.
+ Proactively and regularly communicate with Group staff on strategic, risk, resourcing and workload issues via Group meetings, Team Leaders and other appropriate forums.
+ Regularly interact with and seek input from other members of the leadership group.
+ Be the first point of contact in the Group when we are made aware of significant technical issues on projects
+ Lead and foster a culture of continuous technical, procedural and QA improvement within the Group.
+ Ensure the Group acts in the interests of exceptional service -both internal and external.
+ Adhere to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures.

**To be successful for this role you'll need:**
+ Must have previous experience in a Building Services Consulting environment in Western Australia
+ Significant relevant and demonstrated experience in people and team leadership
+ Tertiary Engineering qualification
+ Licenced/chartered (or equivalent) status with relevant national industry body, or working towards, is highly regarded
+ 10 years professional experience in a relevant technical discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Hydraulics)

+ **Sales Process:** Continuously identifies new sales opportunities and focuses on providing consultative support by building value propositions for solutions into the customer's business, being the focal point for relationship strategies, account and sales plans, proposal strategies, and contract negotiations, for pursuits in play.
+ **Customers** : Building Construction industry customers and stakeholders (including Lead Designers/Architects, Managing Contractors/Builders, Services Consultants, and Services Contractors) in the key growth verticals of Healthcare, Hospitality, Data Centers, Justice & Corrections, Critical Government Infrastructure, Transportation and Industrial/Utilities.
+ **People Management** : Leverages and marshals cross functional internal and external resources to address customers drivers and initiatives in a consultative manner, via a strategic plan for growth in new accounts, new markets, and new geographies.
+ **Results** : Achievement of sales targets, profitable growth and focus on new customers and new opportunities; Orders and margin above set quota in support of Annual Operating Plan whilst operating within company policy.
**Key Experience & Capabilities:**
+ Strong technical understanding of selling Integrated Building/Facility Automation and Control Solutions - inclusive of Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC Controls, Energy Management & Sustainability, Fire Detection & Life Safety, Electronic Security (Intrusion Detection, Access Control, CCTV Surveillance, etc.), and ICT (OT) & Cyber security solutions.
+ Customer/Stakeholder engagement at senior levels; building long-term strategic and executive relationships
+ Cross selling and consultative selling - experience with collaborating across both client and own organization to drive a One-Honeywell approach
+ Commercial expertise and experience.
