**Your Opportunity**
The Flight Line Technician is responsible for the efficient maintenance support of PC21 aircraft in respect of Flight Line and minor hangar maintenance activities as required.
Annual Salary Package* starts from AUD$82,000 to $91,000 + Super + Bonus + OT.
**Your Responsibilities**
+ Perform preparation for flight activity
+ Participate in Flight Line Planning activities as required.
+ Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance predominantly in a flight line setting
+ Ensure all entries and certifications for work undertaken is completed and certified.
+ Carry out line maintenance functions.
+ Actively support and participate in the Jet Aviation Core Values and Safety, Security and Environment policies and procedures as detailed in the Jet Aviation Governance and Polices Manual.
+ Ensure FOD control procedures are adhered to.
+ Ensure OH&S requirements are adhered to.
+ Ensure GSE is serviceable and report any defects or deficiencies
+ Ensure data used is current and applicable
+ Ensure Tool control requirements are adhered to.
+ Ensure at all times documentation is correctly raised and completed.
+ Assist with defect analysis and investigations.
+ Carry out aircraft washing and associated corrosion control inspection
+ Carry out aircraft towing and repositioning.
+ Carry out aircraft refueling.
+ Carry out aircraft marshalling in accordance with appropriate order.
+ Other duties as may be directed by your supervisor from time to time.
**What will help you to Succeed**
+ Aircraft Maintenance Qualification (Aeroskills Certificate II, IV, Military/Foreign Equivalent or suitable Units of Competency).
+ Ability to receive training by an OEM endorsed organisation.
+ Meet the requirements of attaining security clearance at a RAAF Base
+ Knowledge of DASA regulations is desirable though not essential.
+ Knowledge of OH&S and Environment requirements.
+ Customer service and safety focused
+ Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions as well as meeting minimum physical requirements of the job
+ Currently Hold, or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Force security clearance appropriate to the requirements of the position.
+ Ability to deploy in support of Aircraft away base deployment.

**Your Role:**
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics, this dynamic role will see you plan and execute scheduled, unscheduled and deferred defect maintenance requirements as directed by crew leaders and AME, in alignment with approved aircraft maintenance documentation (AMD).
You will also have accountability for:
+ Raising technical issues and presenting solutions
+ Continuously utilising audit tools
+ Reporting and following up on major defects and publication deficiencies in accordance with technical instructions
+ ERP systems, risk assessment and incident reporting as required.
+ Propose capability improvements
+ Material sourcing
+ Assisting the Base Maintenance Manager and Responsible Manager to ensure that all associated tasks and responsibilities comply and conform to relevant regulatory and quality requirements and company policies and standards.
+ Ensuring that all activities undertaken fall within organisational policies and procedures and comply with all published corporate stand
+ Working with due care and consideration to safeguard own health and security, and the health and security of others.

**About You:**
As the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics, you will have an eye for detail and have a strong work ethic. You will also have:
+ The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at Baseline
+ Cert IV Aviation Trade (Mech/AV)
+ Cert III Aviation Trade (Specialist Trades)
+ Previous experience in Base Maintenance (BM)
+ Demonstrated competency of aircraft systems, AMD and local work instructions
+ Thorough knowledge of the structure and use of interactive technical publications
+ Knowledge / experience in DASA regulatory environment
+ Demonstrated understanding of external technical / maintenance support networks
+ Fantastic communication and analytical skill set.
+ The ability to work independently and work within a team.
