Citi is looking for Analyst to join its **Equity Capital Markets (ECM)** team in Sydney.
The ECM team works in partnership with the Advisory and coverage teams to advise public and private companies, entrepreneurs, and financial sponsors to originate, structure, execute, and syndicate equity financings such as initial public offerings, follow-on capital raisings, block trades, convertibles, and other equity-linked financings.
The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to our clients by facilitating equity capital formation.
**About you:**
+ 1-4 years' relevant work experience within ECM, corporate advisory, markets, or a related area
+ You have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent; in any discipline with a top academic record from a leading university and have
+ You have strong corporate finance, analytical, business communications skills (both written and verbal), with exceptional multi-tasking and time management ability
+ You have exceptional teamwork skills with the ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders in other lines of business
+ You are self-directed, highly motivated, resilient, and able to work independently with attention to detail and personal integrity

**Capital Markets Mandate**
+ Develop a sustainable, client focused, flow oriented, primary markets origination business for MUFG clients in Oceania
+ Develop value-added direct CMG client relationships with bond and loan issuer clients across Oceania.

Your role in contributing to this mandate will be (where applicable):
+ Deliver and grow a sustainable, client-focused, flow-oriented, primary and secondary business.
+ Maximise profitability from leveraging and enhancing the Group's customer franchise.
+ Work in partnership with Sales, Trading and Research in MUFG to deliver products that meet the needs of our clients
+ Collaborate with the relevant teams in other Group entities to advance the business globally.
+ In all activities, protect and enhance the firm's, and the Group's, reputation. Working in partnership with other parts of the Group to deliver franchise and business growth.
+ Expand the size and diversity of the client-base

+ Provide regular market and pricing updates for internal and external clients
+ Perform analytical work for client funding or corporate requirements

+ React to client enquiries in a risk-sensitive manner, ensuring proposed solutions are appropriate for the client and meet the requirements of best execution.

Enterprise Credit (EC) is a front-line function and part of the Global Banking and Markets organization at Bank of America. The EC team is responsible for underwriting credit solutions for large corporate and financial institutions clients. **Description**
The Snr Associate will manage a portfolio of large corporate and financial institutions clients and are responsible for structuring, underwriting, negotiating, and monitoring financing solutions for their clients associated with syndicated loans, bridge financings, hedging, leasing, and treasury management products. The GCIB Australia portfolio consists of large multinational companies in sectors such as Airlines, Building Products, Construction & Engineering, Commercial Services, Energy, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Real Estate and Transportation in addition to Financial Institutions and select Private Equity investments. Credits in the portfolio are principally underwritten on a cash flow basis with a mix of investment grade and non-investment grade transactions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Structuring, underwriting, negotiating, documenting, and managing credit risk associated with all banking products for a designated client portfolio.
+ Identifying opportunities to responsibly grow the loan portfolio.

**Required Skills**

+ Must be able to independently lead diligence efforts, make approval recommendations, negotiate loan documentation, and execute timely closings.
