This is a full-time contract opportunity until June 2026, located in Parkes NSW & servicing clients in Cabonne, Forbes, Parkes & Lachlan LGA’s. Starting base annual salary of $94,498, plus super, plus access to generous salary packaging options. Leave benefits included.
About the opportunity:
This is your chance to make a real and lasting impact in communities still rebuilding from the devastating 2022 Eugowra floods. Based in Parkes, you will walk alongside individuals and families across the Cabonne, Forbes, Parkes and Lachlan local government areas, helping them navigate their recovery journey and find renewed hope for the future.
We’re looking for a passionate and compassionate Caseworker to join our Recovery Support Services team. This role is more than a job – it’s about being there when people need it most, providing trauma-informed, person-centred support, and helping communities find strength in the face of challenge.

ul>Your Qualifications & Experience
- A Diploma in Community Services (or related qualification).
- 2+ years’ experience working with vulnerable or trauma-affected populations.
- Strong understanding of child protection and culturally responsive practice.
- Skills in outreach and case coordination.
- A current NSW Driver’s Licence and NSW Working with Children Check.

The role is designated for a female under section 31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act.
This is a permanent part-time opportunity, minimum of 22.80 hours per week , within the Parramatta local government area (with inactive sleepovers) to provide safe and appropriate temporary accommodation for vulnerable young expectant mothers in the Parramatta area.
- Tuesday, Wednesday 3:30pm to 11:30pm with inactive sleepover until 7:30am (sleep onsite) and Sunday 7:30am to 3:30pm
- SCHADS Level 3.1 $38.65 per hour with salary packaging benefits up to $8,550 per year plus penalty rates, sleep over allowance, and 12% superannuation.
- Penalty rates will be paid for shifts worked outside of core hours
- On- call assistance is available

About the Role
As a Support Worker , you will be working across our Homeless and Community Services (HCS) focusing on our Young pregnant mum’s programs. You'll manage the house, providing high-quality support to clients to those at risk or facing homelessness (cooking and doing their chores). You'll help break the cycle of homelessness through personalised support, advocacy, and skill development.
- Advocate for client choice and support independence.
- Monitoring and review of case plans with the case manager
- Assist with intake and assessment of clients as well as maintaining reports or clients’ files li>Trauma-informed practice background in providing support and assistance to individuals who have experienced trauma.
- Maintain high standards of conduct and performance.
- Ensure seamless service delivery and coordinate communication.
- Actively engage in team meetings, performance management and continuous improvement.
- Adhere to Uniting's values, policies, and procedures.
- Promote a safe and inclusive working environment.
- Transport of clients when required.
- Provide general administration support
Your Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications:

- Certificate IV in Community Services, Mental Health, Youth Work, or a relevant field.
- First Aid Certificate
- Driver’s License
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience working with Homelessness, Youth, Women’s and Children's Mental Health. li>Proficiency in working with vulnerable populations.
- Knowledge of best practices for Specialist Homelessness funded Services.
- Computer skills for timely and accurate client information.

**Your New Role and Responsibilities**
We're looking for a capable and collaborative End User Support Specialist to play a key role in delivering high-quality, user-focused IT support across one of our customer organisations.
As a senior member of a cross-functional team, you'll provide technical leadership and contribute to a culture of shared success - handling complex issues, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to service improvement initiatives.
Working in a smaller, highly collaborative environment, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your technical skills across infrastructure and application domains. A key focus of this role is supporting and optimising Microsoft 365 user services and meeting room technologies, including Microsoft Teams Rooms, AV systems, and collaboration tools that enable seamless hybrid work experiences.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of outcomes, and is comfortable working across service desk, TechBar, deskside, and training functions.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Provide advanced support across all user-facing IT services, including Service Desk triage, priority support, TechBar assistance, Microsoft 365 user technologies, and AV/meeting room support.
+ Deploy, configure, patch, and support devices including desktops, laptops, AV systems, mobile phones, authentication devices, and peripherals.
+ Support and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint; assist users with collaboration, access, and productivity tool/s.
+ Perform asset lifecycle activities, such as provisioning, tagging, CMDB updates, and decommissioning; assist with ITSM governance and contribute to process improvement and compliance.
+ Mentor team members and help build capability across the team and customer base through training, technical leadership, IT inductions, refresher sessions, and contributions to SOPs, knowledge base articles, and training materials.
**Qualifications & Experience**
+ Experience supporting enterprise desktop and mobile platforms, with strong hands-on skills across Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
+ Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 user services, including Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and SharePoint; experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV technologies in meeting spaces.
+ Experience with management products such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune, including scripting or automation using scripts like PowerShell; familiarity with patch deployment and endpoint compliance.
+ ITIL v4 Foundation certified (or equivalent understanding), with proficiency in ITSM platforms such as Ivanti or ServiceNow; comfortable working within SLAs and contributing to service documentation.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience delivering training or onboarding sessions and supporting asset/configuration management activities.
