Due to a long, strong and ongoing pipeline of work we are urgently seeking enthusiastic and motivated applicants for the positions of qualified Carpenters within our Queensland Carpentry (around Southeast Queensland) team who will be required to work on a wide range of residential projects. You will be working from either Joii Limited Brisbane office or Joii Limited regional office Deebing Heights QLD.
Essential skills needed:
• Valid qualification in Carpentry.
• Timber or Steel Frame or steel frame experience (please advise your preference in your application or if you have the skills/willingness to work on either.
• Construction OHS card (white card).
• Own reliable transport.
• Driver’s license.

• Able to work unsupervised and part of a team.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Hard working and reliable.
• Attention to detail and able to work to deadlines.

Additional Information:
Must have a Valid Qualification means: AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
The role includes:
Constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, wallboard and other materials.
Tasks include:
• studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures.
• selecting steel or timbers and materials and preparing layouts.
• cutting materials and assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts.
• erecting steel or timber framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying trueness of structures.
• nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames.
• assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install.
• cutting wood joints.
