The PositionA unique opportunity is available for a highly experienced and committed Director of Clinical Services – Adult / Older Adult Community to lead the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred mental health care across a regional community. This senior leadership position is responsible for strategic planning, operational management, and clinical oversight of the Adult and Older Adult Community Mental Health stream. Emerald Hospital is a 36-bed facility, has two operating theatres and approximately 160 staff delivering services across acute, community and primary care. 300 to 400 babies are born at the Emerald Hospital each year.Emerald Hospital has recently obtained accreditation for medical officer training for the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.Essential CriteriaMandatory qualification/s: MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Fellowship of either the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or fellowship of another appropriate Australian specialist college. Enrollment and maintenance of ongoing CPD program with the appropriate bodies is mandatory. Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: Advanced skills training would be looked upon favourably. AFRACMA or FRACMA would be looked upon favourably – there are opportunities to attain specialist medical administration training while in the role.The PackageTotal Package: Up to $554,152 p.a. (L27)Up to $26,821 p.a. (L25)Up to 448,006 p.a. (L18)Includes: 12.75% employer superannuation contribution Annual leave loading 17.5% Salary packaging Work/life balance, variety, and flexibility Employee Assistance ProgramAdditional benefits to this role include: Professional Development Leave (3.6 weeks p.a.)
