**Key Responsibilities**
+ Apply the skills necessary to perform maintenance on electronic equipment.
+ Understand system features and capabilities; to enable you to promptly assess and diagnose problems and develop solutions as required.
+ Prepare and execute project and maintenance plans to meet budget and timeline objectives.
+ Work collaboratively with engineering specialists to report problems, develop solutions and provide feedback; cooperating with colleagues to ensure equipment is fit for purpose and well-maintained to meet the operational requirements of Collins Class Submarines.
+ Support your peers and other teams by contributing to the development of and assisting with the assembly, installation and testing of equipment.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
+ A minimum of Certificate III Electronics or Communications.
+ Understanding and experience (3 or more years) in electronic system fault finding and diagnostic skills; electrical and data interface standards and protocols; operating systems/servers, network protocols.
+ An understanding of, and an ability to use, modern test and measurement equipment.
+ Experience working in a small and dynamic team to deliver outcomes to defined timelines.
+ Meet the work, health and safety requirements - both Raytheon Australia and legal standards.
This position may require availability to travel within Australia and Overseas to support Submarine maintenance.

The Opportunity:
As the Director for our ACS CLCM program of work in our Capability Sustainment and Modernisation operational unit, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, business development and project delivery within the program of work.
You will oversee and support all aspects of the scope of services and will also be responsible for effective HSE and quality management, technical assurance and financial control of the ACS CLCM program.
This position is based in Garden Island, Sydney. Candidates based in other locations are encouraged to apply as an attractive relocation package can also be offered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to:
+ Initiating and setting goals for the CLCM according to the strategic objectives of the ACS Enterprise and any other commercial requirements.
+ Supervision and authorisation of strategic CLCM decisions
+ Inspires the organisation and influences developments within the industry at the highest levels
+ Advances the knowledge and exploitation of technology within the CLCM
+ Development of long term strategic relationships with the customer, partners, subcontractors and key support organisations in the CLCM
+ Responsible for stewardship across the ACS Enterprise
+ Accountable to the Executive Authority for Technical Risk Management, Continuous Improvement and Performance Analysis across the ACS Enterprise
+ Manage the CLCM Contract and deliver the CLCM Program to the entire satisfaction of the customer, whilst providing advice to the customer as a Trusted Adviser
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
+ Tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, business management/administration or equivalent
+ Strong Maritime background
+ Extensive professional experience in project or program management withing the Defence domain
+ Comprehensive experience in managing Tier 1 maritime sustainment services
+ Experience using Earned Value Management techniques
+ Significant experience in management of major programs comprised of multidisciplinary teams
+ Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding an NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
