We are seeking a skilled Communications Engineer to join our dynamic team responsible for sustaining and advancing critical communication systems. This role involves complex engineering activities focused on radio frequency communications, including investigation, analysis, and technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
You will work collaboratively with engineers and technicians, engage with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to safety, risk assessments, and compliance documentation. The position requires independent judgment, initiative, and the ability to provide expert advice on technical and strategic matters.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform complex communications engineering tasks and provide expert advice.
+ Manage engineering risks and apply advanced engineering principles.
+ Review and assess technical designs, specifications, and safety documentation.

**The Opportunity:**
Looking for Network/Hardware technician with great communication skills that will be responsible for collection of incident information through customer conversation, and self-service support tools. Tracks incidents and requests from identification through resolution ensuring a quality end-to-end customer experience. Conducts initial assessment, triage, research, and resolution for basic incidents and requests regarding the use of application software products and/or infrastructure components. Communicates promptly on progress. Engages other service desk resources or appropriate service resources to resolve incidents that are beyond the scope of their ability or responsibility by routing incidents, as necessary, to product line, application, or system support specialists. Executes against established Service Level Agreements (SLA). Documents resolutions and updates self-help and staff knowledge bases. Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems. Provide statistics for the weekly Service Desk report on call trends.

+ Provide Information Technology (IT) support through the performance of on-site product/solution installation, sustainment, and resolution.
+ Oversee and/or perform any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IT equipment and systems.
+ Provide direct customer service touch labor for assessment, diagnosis, and resolution of identified issues.
+ Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the provided solution and interprets customers' needs, defines next steps, and clarifies the assignment of responsibility for problem resolution as needed. Includes any aspect of site/field support and is not limited to systems hardware, software, network, and other technical infrastructure components.
+ Collaborate directly with the TIER 1 provider as necessary.

+ Maintain all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.

+ Maintain network security protocol and ensures compliance with security policies and procedures.

Northrop Grumman's **MQ-4C Triton** Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles. Australia is a cooperative program partner in the Triton program which consists of the US Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Northrop Grumman.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ As a Network Systems Engineer on the MQ-4C Triton, you will be responsible for:
+ Identifying and managing the Triton Network integration risks, through close engagement with the customer to mitigate the impact on safety and capability.
+ Work closely with US counterparts to grow and develop a deep technical knowledge of Triton network to evolve in-country service support. Aim to become a Subject Matter Expert on Triton Network systems and integration protocols.
+ Work closely with the Mission Systems Team to support ongoing management of the Triton mission system through evaluation and assessment of Triton network changes.
+ Deliver outcomes as assigned from the Triton Interim Support Contract and relevant statements of work.
**About You**
+ You will be a degree-qualified in either IT or Engineering and have a breadth of experience working with multiple stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
+ Experience with Network Engineering is essential, as well as possessing a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent level of Cisco Certification

The Opportunity: Our team is seeking a Field Service Systems Engineer to join the Navy Air (NAVAIR) Solutions Group to deploy and maintain Australian Commonwealth Triton Mission Control Systems. This position will be temporarily based out of Jacksonville, Florida for approximately 6 months for training and then shift to Tindal, Australia. Periodic travel between operational sites within Australia to provide systems support and execute hardware and software upgrades will be required.
**Responsibilities:**
Position will provide support to the Remote Quick Look (RQL) ground systems infrastructure, including
- Configuration of ground based RQL components
- Apply system-level knowledge (operating system and hardware) to diagnose issues and provide solutions
- Troubleshooting and fault resolution of the RQL during pre-flight, flight and post-flight phases of operation
- Performance of operational level maintenance
- Installation hardware and software upgrades
- Provide technical assistance to Technical, Maintenance and Engineering support staff to enable personnel to:
o Interpret technical manuals and drawings
o Evaluate logistics products and resources to identify deficiencies or recommend improvements o Assess operational communication system configurations
- Evaluate maintenance practices to identify maintenance or training deficiencies that may be improved through hands on on-the-job training and informal training; and troubleshoot failures and recommend corrective action.
- Work 38 hours per week, averaged over a four-week period, single shift coverage, with maintenance shift schedules and crew rostering aligned to meet the requirements of the Australian Commonwealth.
- Provide technical leadership to junior engineering personnel across the customer organization associated with RQL system.
**Required Education and Experience:**
- TS/SCI w/Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; or
- Associate degree in a related field and four years of recent specialized experience; or
- A high school diploma and eight years of recent specialized experience.
- Current US Department of Defense 8570 Approved IAT II or higher baseline certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent/higher). Must be obtainable within 90 days of start.
**Desired Skills and Qualifications:**
- Experience and knowledge in Navy Distributed SIGINT Operations (DSO)
- Experience with installing, integrating, and configuring DSO systems and operational networks,
- Experience in troubleshooting DSO operational systems and networks,
