**About the Role**
In this role you will, support the Marketing Manager with daily marketing and campaign management for Tommy Hilfiger, including the creation and monitoring of go-to-market campaigns and communications strategy.

As the Communication System Lead, you'll provide technical expertise for the implementation and integration of modernised communication systems that will revolutionise military air traffic control communications. Working with cutting-edge COTS solutions from industry leaders, you'll ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure while maintaining continuous operations at critical defence facilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Support the technical integration of advanced communication systems with existing ADATS infrastructure, coordinating between multiple vendors and internal teams.
+ Support the development and execution of site-specific installation strategies across multiple RAAF bases, ensuring minimal operational impact during transitions.
+ Support system verification and validation activities, including developmental testing and site acceptance testing.
+ Guide the technical aspects of security accreditation and certification processes.
+ Provide expert technical leadership for the modification and testing of system upgrades and backup capabilities.
**Qualifications, Experience and Skills:**
+ University Degree in Engineering with demonstrated expertise in communications systems or similar technical field.
+ Minimum 8 years' experience in technical roles.
+ Proven experience in system integration, technical specification development, and complex system implementations.
+ Expert knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
+ Experience producing engineering cost estimates and managing technical documentation.
**Desirable:**
+ Experience with Air Traffic Control or Defence systems.
+ Knowledge of communication systems and network integration principles
+ Knowledge of AS3000 Wiring Rules and relevant electrical/data interface standards

**The role:**
+ Work with a team of Network and Communications Specialists based in Brisbane QLD at our Cannon Hill Facility or RAAF Base Amberley QLD.
+ Integrate systems using V/UHF, cellular, satellite and microwave backbone technologies
+ Design and implement overlay networks using internet protocol encryptors.
+ Produce ICT engineering documentation.
+ Support the maintenance and delivery of operational networks and communications systems as a critical enabler of an operational system.
+ Collaborate with other technical teams and project managers to ensure the network and communications equipment requirements of the operational system are met.
+ Subject matter expert on the operational systems networks and communications capability.
+ Available to undertake travel to meet the requirements of the role within Australia
**The person:**
+ Desirable Cisco Networking certifications (CCNA/CCNP).
+ Requires specialised knowledge of technical or operational practices within IT.
+ Experience with broad range of relevant technologies and systems including Unix/Linux, MS Server, Active Directory, network management, application servers, and visualisation.
+ Requires understanding of basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritising, coaching and process execution. Experience with Agile processes highly desirable.
+ Desirable a University Degree in Information Technology or relevant equivalent experience.
+ Ability to hold a defence NV2 clearance.
