This role also includes responsibility for oversight of the NDIS portfolio , ensuring culturally appropriate pathways and access for Aboriginal people living with disability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary community health team
- Oversee culturally safe health promotion and engagement initiatives
- Provide oversight and strategic input into the delivery of NDIS services
- Develop and maintain strong cross-sectoral and community partnerships
- Ensure compliance with accreditation, funding agreements, and policy standards
- Monitor program performance and reporting requirements
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce development
- Represent Sunrise Health Services at regional and community forums
- Contribute to funding applications and service planning
- Have at least 5 years of experience in health program management and staff supervision
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Aboriginal community health or remote service delivery
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Public Health, Health Promotion, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field
- Experience with the NDIS and disability service delivery is highly desirable
- Hold a current National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
- Hold a current OCHRE card (or ability to obtain)
- Be fully vaccinated per NT Health guidelines
- Have full working rights in Australia
