The Opportunity

The scope of projects are typically investigations, optioneering , planning and/or design projects for new infrastructure or working with existing assets in a brown field environment up to approximately $20M capital cost.
In the role you will either be managing your own project or suite of projects, or as a member of the project management team delivering large scale infrastructure projects. As a project manager you will provide leadership to deliver projects, safely, on time, within budget and to quality objectives while also building and maintaining client relationships and ongoing business.
Key Skills , experience, and attributes
+ Demonstrated experience in the Consulting Industry as a Project Manager (a range of experience across various infrastructure industries highly regarded).
+ Demonstrated experience in managing small-medium projects
+ A natural ability to build and develop client and peer relationships
+ Industry recognised Project Management certification highly regarded, but not essential

The ideal candidate will have experience in Project Management , preferably with experience in the Australian transport, maritime or water utility industries or sectors . **Translation Project Manager - Japanese Focus**
**Location:** Australia; China
**Work structure:** Full time, permanent
Working with the wider Project Management team, the Translation Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the full lifecycle of translation and localization projects with a focus on quality checks to completion whilst ensuring IQVIA's standards are met.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Manage multiple translation and localization projects at any one time from receipt to completion
+ Liaise with the client to assess and agree project parameters and requirements
+ Assess project scope to select appropriate vendors and negotiate deadlines effectively
+ Establish and maintain excellent relationships with freelance and in house linguists globally
+ Monitor and manage the status of assigned projects to effectively anticipate and prevent issues
+ Accurately complete project finances including quoting and budgeting
+ Prepare and maintain project documentation and information
+ Understand and adhere to the Quality Management System
+ Comply with relevant and applicable IQVIA procedures and SOPs
+ Assist in the maintenance of linguistic assets including glossaries and style guides
+ Ensure that high quality is maintained for all projects through QA checks
+ Prioritize assigned QC tasks to effectively deliver on time
+ Responsible for ensuring that target follows source, and no text is missing including all tracked changes in source documents are accurately implemented in target translations.
+ Meticulous review and verification of documents, focusing on both linguistic and non-linguistic elements to maintain high-quality standards.
**Key Requirements:**
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Project Management in the Language Services industry
+ Bachelor's degree, ideally in a linguistic, business or scientific field
+ Fluency in English is essential, an additional language would be advantageous
+ Excellent written/verbal communication skills
+ Excellent attention to detail to ensure that high quality standards are maintained
+ Ability to meet strict deadlines and to manage competing priorities and changing demands.
+ Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
+ Ability to follow instructions and work independently whilst using own initiative.
+ Demonstration of advanced IT skills
+ Experience working with TMS and CAT tools, experience working with XTRF and/or memoQ would be highly advantageous
+ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and clients
+ Experience in multilingual quality control or a related field.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors.
+ Native / fluent Japanese skills are highly sought after
+ Experience with different language scripts and alphabets is a plus, particularly Korean
