# Project Overview:
Bechtel has been engaged to provide EPCM services to replace three (3) existing bucketwheel reclaimers at Rio Tinto's Parker Point facility at Dampier in northwest Australia.

# Project Overview:
Bechtel is providing project and contract management services to Western Power on the Clean Energy Link Project North Project. The project will strengthen the existing power network north of Perth to ensure it can connect and transport a greater supply of renewable energy to meet decarbonisation objectives. This involves upgrading the current mix of 132 kV and 330 kV lines in parts of the northern network. # Job Summary:
In this role, reporting to a Package Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring external contractors undertaking complex construction activities on behalf of Western Power comply fully with the Contract Lifecycle Management Framework and all contractual compliance obligations and requirements including but not limited to: Safety, Environmental, Quality Management and the verification of contractor activities. You will manage and develop relationships with external contractors and stakeholders to deliver Western Power's contractual works effectively and efficiently and to the required standards.
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for ensuring external contractors undertaking complex construction activities on behalf of Western Power comply fully with the Contract Lifecycle Management Framework and all contractual compliance obligations and requirements.
+ Responsible for ensuring a high level of compliance to, and consistent application of, the Contract Lifecycle Management Framework and the reporting of any contractor breach of this framework.
+ Post contact award, supports reviews of contractor methodology, schedule, resource plan and construction risk assessment workshop (CRAW).
+ Monitor delivery of the works by the external contractor to ensure full contractual compliance is met with a focus on:
+ site specific safety management
+ site specific environmental management
+ quality assurance
+ Monitor schedule progress focusing on critical path activities and associated contractor deliverables
+ Influence the outcomes and quality of the contractor's performance by drawing on specialised experience to make recommendations.
+ Comply with requirements of the project's Management System including the requirement to complete the safety and quality KPI's.
+ Inspect construction work for compliance with drawings, specifications and codes.

+ Inspect work and elevate inspection requirements to the Package Manager where cross discipline input is required
+ Oversee site product quality, support inspections and provide oversight as required.

**Job Description**
Our Transport Team are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer based in Rockhampton. This opportunity presents the chance for an experienced Civil Engineer to work on a wide variety of regionally significant transport and general civil planning and design projects, establishing and building existing client relationships, and leading people. We are looking to speak with Engineers from Principal to Associate Director level with significant experience in Transport Infrastructure.

Working as part of a high performing, close-knit regional team that consists of over 30 engineers, scientists and designers, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with industry renowned peers nationally across our organisation to create whole-of-business success.
**What will a day in this role look like:**
+ Lead general civil work including road design and urban precinct planning projects for both government and private sector clientele.
+ Act as Project Manager / Technical Lead on a range of projects, including partaking in business development practices, proposal writing, bidding for civil infrastructure projects.
+ Work closely with a range of engineers across Australia, delivering key transport design services on a variety of transport infrastructure projects.
+ Partake in Team Leader responsibilities across the local Transport Business including managing, training and mentoring junior team members to aid their professional development, financial reporting on projects.
+ Actively partake in business and strategic planning activities for the team, with the wider business effectively collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders.

**Job Summary:**
Riggers are highly specialized in moving jobs that cannot be accomplished by ordinary means and use equipment expressly designed for moving and lifting objects weighing hundreds of thousands or even millions of pounds or kilograms in places where ordinary material handling equipment cannot go. He/she performs assignments, as directed by the crew chief or field supervisor, involved in the installation of power plants, facilities, and new oilfield pumping units and maintenance/inspections of existing oilfield pumping units. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization's core values.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads, to ensure safety of workers and materials.
+ Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability.
+ Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools
+ Select gear such as slings, shackles, chokers and winches, per load weights and sizes, facilities, and work schedules.
+ Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces, using chain falls, gin poles, gallows frames, and other equipment.
+ Tilt, dip, and turn suspended loads to maneuver over, under, and/or around obstacles, using multi-point suspension techniques.
+ Manipulate rigging lines, hoists, and pulling gear to move or support materials such as heavy equipment.
+ Clean and dress machine surfaces and component parts.
+ Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, ceilings, and gin pole booms, using bolts and clamps
+ Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
+ Use proper rigging apparatus (i.e. chains, slings and ropes) and techniques to ensure safe and proper lifting is performed.
+ Work in adverse weather conditions including high and low temperatures and windy conditions
+ Ensure that safety is included in all aspects of each job he/she performs.
+ Use this position to influence operational personnel and visitors to do the same.
+ Demonstrate support / use of JSAs for every task and actively assist the work group when they are developed.
+ Attendance of all scheduled safety meetings and training.
+ Participate in regular scheduled audits of equipment and tools.
+ Identifying sub-standard acts and near misses.
+ Assist in all safety and environmental incident investigations to help determine root cause.
+ Ensure that he complies with the required STOP Observations and Near Miss Programs

**Required Qualifications & Experience** :
