Candidates will need to demonstrate experience and business acumen in managing large scale, high risk, strategic projects/portfolios, and engagements that span organizational boundaries including multiple business units and service partners/vendors. They provide leadership to cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs to time, budget and project quality criteria
The Delivery Executive ensures adherence to appropriate methodologies around Project & Program management. Experience with SAP's Activate methodology or equivalent is desirable.
The Delivery Executive also assists during the Bid Phase of the customer engagement by providing input into the proposal especially around delivery methodology and delivery model, project structure, organization, scoping, estimation and risk assessment.
The Delivery Executive is: -
+ Responsible for delivery, governance and outcomes of SAP Cloud projects throughout all stages of the delivery lifecycle
+ A trusted partner for our customers, partners, internal leadership and key stakeholders
+ Responsible for communicating and coordinating with employees at all levels of the organization including senior management, consultants and vendor resources

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Sales Support and Opportunity Management**
+ Represent delivery to drive and define the project scope, schedule (including dependencies and integration components), resourcing, effort estimations and risk assessment for key deals and opportunities

+ Drive the use of latest SAP delivery methods and best practice such as Clean Core and Integrated Toolchains to support quality outcomes and manage exceptions
+ Ensure effective execution of all Project management activities (planning, monitoring, and controlling), including:
+ Project planning: WBS, deliverables, dependencies, owners, due dates, links to other related plans
+ Project resource planning and management
+ Review SoWs for 3rd Parties and sub-contracting entities
+ Optimize the use of nearshore and offshore delivery by SAP and its partners to achieve cost advantages for the customer and for SAP.
+ Project financial planning and management, ensuring a complete and accurate view is available on request, covering actual data from start to date, and forecast date until Project completion.
+ Scope management covering full scope definition against the original Statement of Work (or initial Project scope), incorporating the Project Change Management Process records.
+ Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) log/processes and conduct regular RAID Review meetings, documenting decisions, actions and outcomes.
+ Anticipate the required course of action to proactively manage operational and business risks to the project
+ Manage the Project deliverable reviews and approval processes, within stated contractual timeline, recording of Minutes of reviews and related approvals.
+ Work closely with Project Sponsors and Project Review Boards to facilitate timely decisions necessary for Project delivery.
+ Manage escalations and take accountability for the de-escalation process, coordinating recovery activities, negotiations, and stakeholder's engagement as necessary
+ Ensure lessons learnt are captured and feedback provided to appropriate stakeholders.
+ Ensure knowledge transfer to the subsequent owner in life cycle has occurred to support efficient operations
+ Celebrate Project success with teams, using SAP Awards practices, internal communication to the region and to the team leadership.
**Governance & Reporting**
+ Ensure all Project activities are performed in accordance with SAP Methodology, Quality Standards, Reporting and Governance frameworks.
+ Build a trusting and efficient working relationship with the Customer and 3rd party stakeholders
+ Ensure governance forums are operationalized and recorded as per the governance model, including Project Management meetings and Steering Committee meetings.
+ Comply with SAP internal financial processes for projects
+ Coordinate and effectively communicate with other SAP and Customer stakeholders and Project team members to ensure consistent alignment with broader account plans and business strategy.
+ Develop and drive strong Customer C-level relationships on strategic accounts and becoming a trusted advisor.
**On a Continuous Basis:**
+ Maintain awareness of the CS&D strategy in terms of transformation initiatives, methodology, tools, delivery strategy and promote the understanding and adoption within the Project or Program.
+ Lead by example, mentor and coach other team members.
+ Maintain up-to-date records of mandatory training.
+ Maintain awareness of certification-related literature, such as the Project Management Body Of Knowledge (PMBOK), driven by the Project Manager Institute (PMI).
+ Contribute actively to the ANZ CS&D Delivery Management Business to leverage best practices, share lessons from Projects, and contribute to developing the Project Manager function.
+ Participate in the development of Project management best practices, examples, templates and SAP's Project Management Methodology.
+ Maintain a comprehensive understanding of SAP solutions and of the CS&D business processes and functions.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
+ 10 years of project management experience in the delivery of medium to large-scale cloud projects
+ 5-7 years Program Management experience or significant experience in managing complex and large projects with multiple streams of work
+ Experience with SAP and SAP Cloud products and understanding of SAP RISE Methodology and tool chains
+ Experience working for and/or delivering projects within government agencies and organizations is highly preferred
+ Experience delivering in parallel across multiple customer cloud projects and/or SAP products at any one time
+ Expertise in creating and maintaining project deliverables such as, project charter, project management plan, status reports, project timesheets, communications plan, budget, and schedule.
+ Ability to identify risks, anticipate challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles with mitigations and contingencies

Our Perth NextGen Academy kicks off in February 2026. This is a full-time in-office opportunity at our new software development lab on the Swan River in Elizabeth Quay, Perth.
**What** **You'll** **Do:**
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will: 
+ Support project coordination by helping track tasks, timelines, and milestones
+ Assist with planning by contributing to schedules and documentation under guidance
+ Join customer meetings to observe and learn how to manage delivery and communication
+ Collaborate with teams across engineering, consulting, and sales to keep projects moving
+ Help monitor risks and raise concerns when things go off track
+ Learn about Rocket's delivery approach and build your understanding of our products and customers
+ Contribute to reporting and help maintain visibility to project progress
+ Use project management tools to track tasks, milestones, and risks
+ Support small projects like upgrades or migrations as you grow in confidence.
+ Participate in continuous improvement by sharing ideas and feedback
**Who You Are:**
+ Permanent resident or citizen of Australia
+ Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or other related fields
+ Recent graduate, or writing your final exams at the end of 2025
+ Curious, self-motivated, with a keen interest in Project Management
+ A collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project planning software packages
+ Excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities
+ Ability to manage timelines and multi-task effectively
