As a QAE, Document Control APAC Region you will be part of a global engineering team, comprised of highly effective Architects, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Control Engineers. You will have impact on the design direction and ability to improve design delivery for an entire region, while establishing design procedures and protocols for the development of future systems. As the Quality Engineer you will perform quality assurance and quality control reviews, track, and manage design drawings, specifications and documents prepared during the engineering design process in order to ensure regulatory, legal, and security compliance. You will work alongside internal partner teams such as Engineering, Power and Cooling (PAC), Security, Controls, and Commissioning to build Data Centers that directly support our customers. You will also communicate with external stakeholder design consultants.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage simultaneous projects' engineering drawings, specifications, and documents and run the workflows where you engage with the correct stakeholders across the organization to raise the bar in the quality and the coherence of the content of the package provided.
- Perform quality review of technical documentation for accuracy and contract compliance
- Perform engineering quality assurance and engineering quality control reviews for all design drawings, prior to submission to Construction for builds.
- Provide coordination of all engineering and architectural specifications, design drawings, and permit submittals for projects
- Support the design managers to prepare complete and accurate documentation at various design phases and during construction hand off, including but not limited to drawings, specifications, bill of materials, calculations, etc
- Manage project archiving, tracking, processing and filing activities, assist in naming standard, versioning schema, etc.
- Set up and work on training initiatives for our internal and external partners, and provide tactical support
- Prepare ad hoc reports on project's progress, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and progress tracking
- Collaborate with technical teams in a fast-paced environment with showed ability to edit and raise the bar on high-quality technical documentation

- Lead and drive process improvements (short-term wins) as well as process design / redesign (long-term wins) efforts
- Manage a portfolio of projects in an assigned region
- Maintain and add user accounts, security groups, and permission access levels
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation o Attend team meetings and communicate updates or requirements
- Execute vision and goals for the team or department
- Conduct audits to ensure processes are being followed
- Acting as central point of contact for all engineering drawings for APAC projects
- Drive speed, quality, and simplification by eliminating rework loops, reducing and automating manual work and hand-offs, identifying and implementing best practices across the business, and minimizing process variability through standardization and automation
- Diagnose Amazon processes, identify improvement opportunities, prescribe improvement strategies, and guide the improvement effort
- Maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders and understanding our highest priority execution pain-points and opportunities, which will translate into initiatives that improve processes, tools, and team capabilities
- Create global best practice documentation and facilitate sharing across the globe
- Developing document tracking process and auditing repositories for compliance
A day in the life
AWS Quality Assurance Engineers have knowledge of the commercial industry design and construction process, experience reviewing technical and contractual documentation, and strong communication skills.
In this role, you will deep dive documentation for completeness, update and create procedures to optimize workflows, and look for improvement opportunities.
As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will manage the intake of design consultant documentation, review documentation for quality compliance and completeness, and update stakeholders with progress of the final workflow documentation processing. High volumes of documentation review are part of this role and you will need to exercise strong judgement on how to communicate and engage stakeholders through various tools.

Basic Qualifications
- 5 + Years of Experience with document controllership/and or Engineering processes across planning, execution and closeout including data organization skills

Amentum is seeking an **Electrical Power Engineer** to support a requirement for a US Government contract in the town of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory of Australia. This position supports efforts to be performed by Amentum including facilities Construction, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) and Support Services in an austere and remote location. Performance requires several unique functions given the isolated location of the Site which resides on a 4,400-acre facility which is self-sufficient and generates its own power and water. The contract supports Project Task Order (PTO) related efforts varying in complexity from minor/major system upgrades, renovations, to existing facilities, and new construction. The priority is to implement and maintain a successful O&M program to provide life, health and safety for site personnel, while ensuring continuous operations of the site infrastructure.

+ Working closely with the CSC Senior Electrical Engineer, you will execute your duties in accordance with the prescribed company engineering processes, delivering documented technical outcomes that achieve the desired technical integrity and quality for the program.
+ Work with the Senior Electrical Engineer to support the VLF Transmitter Mission System, ensuring high availability operation and sustainment of over 1MW of triode vacuum tube amplifiers.
+ Work with the Senior Electrical Engineer to fault find, maintain and sustain the sites power generation, power transmission, plant equipment, radar and control systems.
+ Assist in the identification, documentation and mitigation of risk of Electrical Engineering Hazards.
+ Assist in electrical defect investigations, maintenance-related investigations and preparation of special technical instructions.
+ Liaise with the VLF Engineering Manager on project engineering issues, design process and engineering change development in accordance with company and program procedures.
+ Participation in technical reviews, planning, estimating and scheduling of electrical engineering tasks for the CSC activities.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in an Electrical Engineering with at least two years of post-graduate professional engineering experience in the area of Electrical systems;
+ Ability to resolve defects on a diverse range of electrical systems;
+ Familiarity with Australian Standard (AS) electrical standards and preferably with WA legislation;
+ Preferred familiarity with SCADA, Siemens and Allen-Bradley control systems;

Who are you?
