Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with this fantastic health service based in the Northern Territory to help them find an experienced Corrections Registered Nurse to join their team on an agency contract basis.
As a Corrections Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering healthcare within a correctional facility, addressing the medical and mental health care needs of inmates. This includes conducting medical assessments, administering medications, managing chronic conditions, and responding to emergencies, all while adhering to safety and security protocols.

Job Details
- 4-6 weeks agency contract
- Commencing within in the next 2-4 weeks (ideally as soon as possible)
- Up to $94.58 per hour AM rate plus other shift penalties plus 11.5% superannuation
- Fully furnished accommodation
- Return travel provided from within Australia
- Uniform provided

To be eligible you must:
- Have full AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- A minimum of 2 years post grad experience in general nursing, preferably with experience in correctional healthcare ,emergency care, mental health, or community nursing.
- Experience in managing acute and chronic health conditions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse inmate population, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Have completed all core competencies including an up to date police check and WWCC
- Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
