# Project Overview:
Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy. Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source.
# Job Summary:
As Craft Supervisor - Cranes and Rigging, you will lead a team and/or craft professionals on a project. You will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets. This is a FIFO role working 3:1 roster, based in Karratha, WA.
# Major Responsibilities:
**Leadership / Supervision**
+ Supervises and/or directs craft activities as assigned.
+ Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft.
# Planning / Productivity
+ Determines workforce requirements.Coordinates established area operational plans.
# Tools, Materials & Equipment _Monitors tool and equipment usage on the site._
+ Oversees the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive.
# Safety & Quality
+ Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.
+ Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors' performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
# Technical
+ Works with Construction Field Engineers, Leading Hands, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documentsOversees engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Leading Hands and Craft Professionals.
# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.Bechtel Certified Rigging Engineer (CRE) certification preferred.
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Must have sound knowledge and experience in RT, all terrain and crawler cranes.
+ Advanced technical knowledge and experience in engineering in the use of lifting equipment, alternative heavy lifting systems, mobile gantries, jacking, tailing, rigging equipment, and load distribution systems, including an understanding of transport/transfer of equipment, soil mechanics.
+ Knowledge and understanding of the application and requirements of the Project Environmental, Safety & Health.
+ Knowledge of project-specific environmental compliance requirements.
+ Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.

_This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.)._ _The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site._ **This position is available to both local and non-local personnel. For non-locals (FIFO/DIDO), the working roster is 3/1.**

What You'll DoIn the role of Equipment Operator, your duties will include:
+ Receive and Follow Directions: Report to the Foreman or General Foreman to receive daily assignments, instructions, and directions.
+ Operate Equipment: Safely operate designated machinery and equipment, which may include a bus, semi-truck, skid steer, warehouse forklifts, front-end loader, bulldozer, motor grader, K-Loader, scraper, roller, or tractor.
+ Maintain Safety Standards: Strictly adhere to all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
+ Perform Routine Checks: Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly before use.
+ Report Equipment Issues: Promptly report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to ensure equipment is always in good operating condition.
+ Document Operations: Keep accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and any incidents to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
+ Adapt to Various Duties: Be flexible and ready to perform various other duties and activities as directed by the Foreman or General Foreman.
