**Core responsibilities:**
+ Identify, owning and driving Operational Risk Events to resolution in collaboration with all key stakeholders across the business
+ Co-ordinating with internal and external auditors, executing on auditor's request and implementing remediation plans
+ Efficient and timely implementation of regulatory changes including enhancements to existing processes and systems.
+ Establishing systems and procedures to enforce robust AML/KYC procedures
+ Ensure Risk, Compliance and Audit policies are adhered to across the Onboarding process
+ Ownership and accountability of audit results, outcomes and remediations
+ Management & resolution of compliance gaps
+ Identify and implement projects to improve POC and activation

Description
Amazon is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the execution of successful new build infrastructure and expansion/retrofit projects in our Global Customer Fulfillment (GCF) network. This individual will lead a team of support personnel and coordinate the resources required to launch new and complex projects with the goals of achieving timelines, staying within budget, and driving standardization within our network. The Project Manager will manage medium to large capital projects with tight schedule commitments. The Project Manager will lead and coordinate schedule of multiple internal business units and external vendors at the same time, as well as interface at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations
- Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery
- Owns program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate
- Influence design and development of strategic processes
- Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
- Develop, implement, and governs the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or sub-task
- Provide accountability while reporting on status, asking for help, and immediately escalating issues and problems as necessary
- Responsible for overall project schedule that enables the teams to be successful based upon the project milestones and Go-Live
- Position includes travel up to 50% (Nationwide)
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
